How did I not know how good this place is?!?! The pretzel roll was very authentic. Solid crust with fluffy middle. So Good!! The plum strudel was filled with juicy fruit that didn’t overpower the butter, flaky crust. The apple lattice was next level. Delicious fruit beautifully combined with crispy, flaky, buttery pastry. …and we brought it home to eat it. You can’t get this anywhere else.
We lived in Germany, so we like going here and buying some German and European products.
They often have a wine tasting table set up. There are baked goods and frozen section and shelf-stable items.

My husband Apel Streudel and Blueberry cake, both are excellent.

I have been coming here since I was 18. They finally got their head right. The sandwich’s are made with care. They literally have the shelves stocked full of German made/imported products. I am content.

Saw sandwiches posted online and decided to try it. It was DELICIOUS! The Christmas Market was fun to walk through as well. Bakery items are heavenly.
You can find all of the good authentic German food in this market! Plus the old world village is a fun place to visit. The German restaurant next door is a must eat place as well! Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a new taste or new experience from another culture!
Great specialty store inside old world village. There's too much great stuff to describe in just one review, But if I have to highlight anything it would be their deli and their bakery counter. They also have some good liquor selections and a lot of other goodies in between those categories. They're a little bit more expensive than most places, but this place is European themed and some other items there you can only find online. Plus it's just delightful to go to Old World village and just poke around through the stores looking for the things you've always wanted to try but don't think about until it's in front of you.
Definitely worth a trip to go get a pretzel, a fresh loaf of bread, or some good Bavarian sausage.
Found this place yesterday when we went to Old World Village for Rare Vintage Air car show. This was the only place open during the car show and my do they have anything and everything you need.
I had to stock up on my milka chocolates but could not resist the ready made items they had.. tried the pretzel dog- the sausage was so juicy and flavorful you didn't need mustard.
Tried the beef pocket and pork pocket a little greasy but the crust was so crunchy and flaky. I'm not sure what was actually in it, kind of reminder me of an empanada but it was so flavorful that you didn't need any dipping sauces. . I couldn't leave without getting subverting for dessert, sadly the cannoli was disappointing, it was crunchy but had a weird after taste that I couldn't take another bite.
The chocolate cake did not disappoint. Everyone that worked here was so nice and helpful
First time at this place and the atmosphere and service was spot on.
The food was authentic and the beer was wonderful.
The best part was the chocolate selection in the shop. If you’re looking for authentic German food this is your place!
Just off the parking lot of Old World in Huntington Beach, across from Costco, we see this sort of plain looking, old building of the style found in many towns in the old world.
