Review Ayce Sushi Inc - Huntington Beach

Daniel Chimenti
Food is good. High quality fish for all you can eat. You are definitely able to get your money’s worth if you come hungry. Our only complaint was with the receipt. We paid, selecting the tip on the first receipt. Then after we got the card back, on our second receipt the TAX was higher than the first time. That should not be affected by the tip. The server did not fix the issue. Just apologized and said it was a system error. A good restaurant should rectify something like this!

Yummy choices for no rice sushi and regular sashimi. I believe it’s one of the better ayce sushi places in OC. It’s best to come at opening to avoid wait time. Nice workers. I like the sushi nachos. The no rice choices and the smaller use of rice!

If you’re into sashimi all you can eat, this is a spot you don’t want to miss. The freshness of the sashimi is something you can taste. For sushi, the rice portion is small. Everything else on the menu also taste pretty good.

Go-to for AYCE sushi and worth upgrading to premium menu for the AYCE sashimi/raw oysters if you’re a seafood lover like myself 🙌🏻 Fish quality is amazing, but the service is meh 🫤 Usually come here for dinner and birthday celebrations (there’s a fun surprise!) Recommend coming here around 5:30pm-6pm to beat the line as it gets long~

Great place for AYCE sushi. The fish to rice ratio is amazing. Their premium sashimi menu is also amazing. Price is comparable to other AYCE sushi spot. Definitely recommend eating here.

5:20 pm Sun/17 Sep it was only 10 min wait (at 6:15 it started getting really full). The sashimi (see pic), spicy scallops and raw oysters were my favorites. The "burrito" and "salmon crunch" i didn't care for. "rainbow" and "tokyo" rolls had were ok, too much imitation crab stuffing.

Food: 5/5 were all good and great quality fish. Service: 5/5 attentive and friendly. Atmosphere: 5/5 loud and music playing in the background. I prefer a more tranquil environment but I get it. Definitely worth it.

A go to spot for AYCE Sushi and the service is quick to bring your dish. The sushi was fresh and tasty, no funky flavors from the fish at all. Plenty of the rolls were sweet, savory, creamy and spicy when inhaling the sushi as it's best to come hungry to make the experience worthwhile. When you're finished, the green tea ice cream is served to you to wash down all the fish you've consumed. Definitely worth the time coming here when you just want to engorge your sushi cravings.

One of the spots to go to for AYCE Sushi. Food: The sushi here is great! Smaller amount of rice compared to other places which is great when wanting to eat a lot of fish. Salmon and yellowtail sushi are the go to here for me and my friends. Baked mussels are small but great so we tend to order extra orders. Wait time: Wait time outside depends on when you go from walking in to waiting 30 minutes depends on the time and day going. Service: Wait time for food is moderate; it is personally to be expected since going AYCE. Some times we do not get everything in our order so accuracy is slightly off but possibly due to being busy. Staff is usually nice though. Atmosphere: About the typical AYCE sushi place. Lights off and some music briefly for birthday celebrations. Cost: Usually my party does not order drinks, mid ~$40s per person.

All you can eat sushi. I usually don’t like all you can eat because the quality isn’t always the best, BUT this place definitely has the best quality comparing to other places. There are two different price range for non sashimi and sashimi. Definitely go here if you are celebrating a birthday! They blast the music and give you a sweet treat for your birthday. Pretty fun!

It's a hit or miss. I've been here about 5 times last year and 4 times out of 5 I got exceptional service and great sashimi (chef were able to select the cuts I've requested). However, last week we were here again and we were a bit annoyed by the service as well as the sashimi cuts. First, the sashimi were good but not as great as previous visits. Secondly, they missed a few items we marked on the AYCE selection sheets, and took way longer to bring those dishes out (we were sitting and waiting in between rounds for about 20 minutes without any food). Also, because of that waiting time, we kind of reached their 90 minutes time limit (more than 30 minutes sitting and waiting for next round of food) and the manager/owner came to our table and basically told us, hey leave, you reached your time limit. I thought that was pretty rude AF. That was the reason for subtracting 1 star from my review.

The food was good and my friend's son enjoyed his dinner. We were celebrating his birthday. What's better than an all-you-can-eat dinner for your birthday? The fish was very good and a great selection on their menu. Service was good and the staff were attentive. It was crowded during dinner, but we didn't have to wait long for our table. I definitely recommend this place if you have a huge appetite.

Don't order a lot all at the start: the chef might miss 1 or 2, and you may over-eat too quickly. Otherwise, great place for good-quality AYCE sushi. Will be back. ;)

Outstanding quality Sushi in the area. The waiting time is not so long and there were so many options to chose from the menu. Friendly staffs and quick service. The only problem is the place is kinda small but we had no problem with it. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommend for Sushi lovers.

Definitely a must-go if you enjoy sashimi (which requires an upgrade to your AYCE). They have beautiful large and fresh cuts of sashimi. It also comes with fresh wasabi! They also offer a variety of rolls. Some don't include rice, so you can just enjoy the fish! I also really enjoyed their shrimp tempura. It tasted as I expected it to be... with a good crunch!! 🍤 This place does get packed quite often, so the servers are quite busy running around the restaurant. The wait to get seated can go from 30 minutes to 2 hours at times (depending on when you go), but it's worth the wait.

Title: A Delightful Sashimi Feast: A Review of an All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Restaurant Review: If you're a sushi lover like me, then you've probably experienced the sheer delight of indulging in an all-you-can-eat sushi feast. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting a local sushi restaurant that offered precisely that, and I must say, their sashimi selection left me completely astounded. Let me take you on a culinary journey through my experience. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a serene and inviting atmosphere. The warm ambiance, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of fresh seafood, set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. As I settled into my seat, I eagerly perused the extensive menu, which promised a wide array of sashimi options. To my delight, the sashimi offerings at this restaurant were truly exceptional. The presentation of each platter was artfully arranged, showcasing vibrant colors and expert knife work. The first bite of sashimi I took transported me to sushi heaven. The fish practically melted in my mouth, revealing its incredible freshness and delicate flavor. Each piece was meticulously sliced, displaying the chef's skill and commitment to quality. The restaurant's sashimi menu boasted an impressive selection of fish, ranging from traditional favorites like tuna and salmon to more options like yellowtail. What impressed me the most was the restaurant's dedication to sourcing high-quality ingredients. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, as if it had just been plucked from the ocean moments before. The restaurant's commitment to using premium ingredients truly elevated the sashimi experience. Apart from the exceptional taste, the texture of the sashimi was sublime. Each slice had the perfect balance of tenderness and firmness, providing a satisfying mouthfeel with every bite. The sashimi was served at the ideal temperature, ensuring that the flavors were preserved while offering a refreshing and enjoyable dining experience. I also appreciated the variety of accompanying condiments and garnishes that were offered alongside the sashimi. The traditional soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger were of the highest quality and complemented the sashimi beautifully. Additionally, the restaurant provided an assortment of specialty sauces that added an extra dimension of flavor to the already delectable fish. The service at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was impeccable. The attentive staff members were knowledgeable about the sashimi offerings, and their recommendations were spot-on. They were always available to answer any questions and were prompt in refilling our plates with freshly prepared sashimi. The chefs demonstrated incredible skill and passion in their craft, which was evident in the exceptional quality of each dish. In conclusion, my experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was nothing short of remarkable, with the sashimi selection being the undeniable highlight. The freshness, flavor, and presentation of the sashimi were truly outstanding. If you're a fan of sashimi, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this restaurant to embark on a culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds singing with joy.

This is where we go when my family craves sushi. The fish to rice ratio for sushi is crazy. Rolls are good but can get very filling as it has more rice and tons of heavy sauce. Expect to wait over an hour for a table during peak times. Service is always good.

This place is a rare all you can eat sushi and sashimi. They have half shell oysters (shucked) and yes, all you can eat. Their fish is really fresh and they have a decent selection. Expecting LONG wait specially during lunch or dinner hours . Last time I saw the expected wait time was like 90 minutes. This place is a kid friendly facility and they have plenty of free parkings in front as well as on the side. Not sure about handicap friendly.

AYCE sashimi for $43! This was a first seeing this type of deal and let me tell you it was worth every penny. The chefs do not try to fill you up on rice 🍚 but instead load it up with fresh fish and generous on the cuts of sashimi! I will most definitely be returning and telling all my friends and family about this hidden gem 💎 thank you for the speedy and excellent customer service and the delicious 🤤 rolls 👍!

With the exception of a tempura roll called the “The Titanic”, the sushi was mediocre at best. We were each given a Titanic on the house to try and it turned out to be our favorite item. Miso soup was average. The halibut sushi had absolutely no flavor. I’ve had it served several different ways, with or without wasabi, with or without mint, but all with some sort of yuzukoshu(citrus pepper paste). This was 3 very small slices of halibut in rice; that’s it. The sauce on the “Popcorn rolls” was very good, but the crawfish inside the tempura was very chewy. The rainbow roll was average. The Philadelphia rolls were average. The servers were friendly but seemed to be overworked. We were there for almost an hour and i never got a single refill on my iced tea. We ordered a la carte instead of doing the all you can eat as it was by far the more economic option for us. All you can eat on weekends is $28 per person, plus an additional $5 for “premium sushi.” Lunch for the 3 of us came to $57, including tip. Can’t beat the price, but if you’re looking for REALLY GOOD sushi, there are far better options within a a few miles of this place.

I love how they name their sushi. First time here and let me tell you, I will be returning. It was just the right flavor for each roll. Should come when there is a birthday. They do a little celebration for the whole restaurant to participate in if you want. Great place to just enjoy some great food.

I've been to a lot of sushi places but so far AYCE is the best one & near my place! Everything tasted so good! Rolls didn't pack a lot of rice & quality is premium plus free green tea ice cream for desert was fulfilling I'm planning to come back here again & again! Keep up the good taste! Thx AYCE!

They have a lot of good selections. Their all-you-can-eat menu also includes riceless sushi. That's amazing. There were other items that were riceless, as well. The salmon teriyaki was amazing. Their servers are very friendly. They are very attentive to every customer. This is exactly how you keep customers. Good job!

AYCE is our go to spot for lunch when we have the sushi hankering. Cheap rolls, cheap beers, and high quality food keep us coming back. Interior and atmosphere leave something to be desired, but as long as the food stays delicious and the beer cheap, they'll always have me as a customer. Keep up the great work!
Madonna Breton
Very decent menu, will know what to order next time. Service is mediocre. For $1.95 a piece for oyster, why limit to 1-piece-per-person-only for AYCE? You may rethink to add more, and this can be a promotion move to attract more customers.

Totally found our new sushi spot! Amazing fresh fish, great rolls, everything I put in my mouth was delicious! Great serves with amazing smiles and laughter <3

Amazing sushi that melts in your mouth and very nice people that work here

Took forever to get sushi and we were the only ones there which is crazy considering two of their waitresses were just standing around bored and all they did was converse with one another in Korean while they totally forgot about our third round of orders. They need to step up their customer service and not forgetting orders.

All I can say is that I absolutely loved it! Worth the price and they had crawfish! Girlfriend and I were full for days! Not a place for kids, though. They play whatever they want for music, for example a song kept repeating "Fuc* You"

The best sushi I ever had! The owner is great and hard working all the time! I will go again every time I'm in LA!

This is BY FAR the best AYCE around and I love in Mission Viejo! Totally worth the drive!
