The staff here is what you can expect when you're in Hawaii, nothing but 'aloha' This place makes a Hawaiian feel like they never left Hawaii, and the menu is incredible with it's variety and proportions. You either leave happy or with leftovers, it's a win-win in any case!
Best Malasadas ever. If you do not know what this delicacy is you need to stop by and try it, you will not regret it. Also food is great plus they have the best shaved ice!!!
The food here deserves a 5 but the staff here is sub par. The waitress was not friendly and never brought a second plate we asked for... Twice. Shaved ice next door is awesome!
If you want Hawaiian food like you would get at the islands, then come and eat here. It's a cute quaint little place. The food is delicious and the portions are large. It's worth our drive to come out then hang out at the beach. We even brought out of towners and they loved it.
Food is wonderful! Portion sizes are huge. My husband and I shared the Big A's Loco Moco. We are still taking enough home for a couple more meals! The Malasadas are to die for. Prices are reasonable. Will be coming back.
I have been meaning to try this place for awhile! I've been having a big craving for Hawaiian food and had to give this place a try. I was definitely craving some loco moco and malasadas. We tried the kalua pork fries, so amazing! It was really really good. I love the texture of the fries, just p
My all time favorite place. The food is amazing. Everything on the menu, you can't go wrong. The staff is so nice and you can tell they put time in the food, you can't better katsu or terri beef anywhere else. The malaaadas are made to order, never had anything like it before. Life changing. You'll
The malasadas and saimin are delicious. I feel like the plate lunches are overpriced for the amount of food you get. I've had times where the staff have been friendly, and other times where they have been extremely rude and terse. It seems to improved over the past few months, though. The food is m
Chicken grandma sauce is so tasty. Moco loco local favorite. Food Always good but always ask before you check menu they run out of a lot of stuff. Masalas thick dough with jam inside. Shave ice next door is refreshing. Parking ok next to many stores and bar. Will return soon!! SO SAD...CLOSED DOWN.
Love this place for my Hawaiian home cooking. Good Island style portions and the best Guava Jelly you'll ever try. Try the Korean chicken, it's not always available but OMG it's amazing. Challenge your friends to see who can finish the Big A Loca Moco. Now, you have to be patient here as the food
Always clean fresh, authentic and delicious!! I have Celiac Disease... one of the few local places that I can eat and have had no reactions as long as I ask and communicate about my allergies...I can eat the Beef Stew, Hamburger Steak plate and the hand cut homemade fries with gravy!! Yumalicous !!
Excellent place to have breakfast or Lunch and experience their traditional MALASADAS as a Treat to you and your family. It brings me to a place where I can enjoy the Authentic Hawaiian atmosphere and the tradition of eating a Loco Moco or a Hawaiian Plate Lunch. You can take an Islander from the Is
Now my favorite Hawaiian bbq pretty much the only place we go to get our fix for bbq and musubi. The owner/Chef who we got to meet and share some stories with along with her wonderful staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was nothing I had ever tasted b4 and the desserts I have no words to descri
Best Malasadas in LA, actually made fresh as opposed to every other place making it once in the morning and serving those all day. Breakfast items are awesome too, huge portions, Try the Big A's Loco Moco for a meatfest of a morning meal.
Authentic and my favorite place for a Traditional Hawaiian Poke Bowl delicious!!..it will set you back 14.95 but it's enough for two.. friendly and quick...cute space they share with a Hawaiian shaved ice space..table service and family friendly
Soooo much food and great quality for the price. They took a little time with the order and gave us free malasadas to make up for it. Really great service and a way chill environment, would definitely come again if we were ever in the area
The food was fast and delishious, the ladies working were funny, filled my coffee up multiple times, and the whole time we listened to hawaiian Christmas carols. A wonderfully light-hearted morning and a heavy-stomached meal. 5/5 would go again
I came for the chili spaghetti but they were out so I ordered a cheese burger instead. The meat on it was huge, the lettuce and tomato were fresh. There was one small slice of cheese when it should have two since the meat was huge.
