This place serves outstanding ribs and brisket and a variety of soul food sides. Candied sweet potatoes on the weekend. Service is friendly and fast. I went once for lunch and discovered my newest favorite BBQ place. I came back with my wife a couple days later because the food is that good. We'll definitely be back.
Real deal wood smoked bbq meats, good sides casual atmosphere. Get the tri tip authentic santa maria style, super tender and mouth watering. Meat sweats tonight!
Smoked brisket sandwich is rich and vibrant with flavor! First bite, instant mouth watering. Kinda sad not many people go there. But do go! Casual attire and relaxed ambiance.

Good local spot for BBQ. The sauces were good and the food wasn’t over cooked. Service was great, they were attentive and helpful. Plenty of beers on tap. Good place to watch the game and have good food. We will be back.

1st time trying this place out. I was craving some Beef Ribs and found this place with the help of Yelp. Checked out the reviews and made our way here.
It was an off time of our visit, so my wife and I were literally the only people dining in at the restaurant. Which was really nice actually.
I ordered the Beef Center cut Ribs. Oh-Emm-Gee!!..... Seriously the BEST beef ribs I've ever had. I am one of those guys that will search out beef ribs to try at new-to-me spots. I can't believe how meaty, tender and perfectly cooked they were. Each bite was heavenly. I ordered them dry because I love to taste the meaty goodness. (that's what she said!) I did however order a side of the spicy sauce. I'm not usually a fan of sweet. But this is the definition of "sweet heat". Little sweet at first taste, then it transitions quickly into this tasty tangy heat. Loved it!
Wife ordered the pastrami sandwich. Again, I happen to be an aficionado of pastrami, just like beef ribs. HANDS DOWN,..... The BEST pastrami we've EVER had! It was smoked and you could taste it. Thinly sliced almost crispy around the edges and flavorful as heck! The bun was extremely soft and fresh. Wife and I both LOVED the sandwich!
Sides!..... I got 2 sides with my ribs. I had the Spicy Collard greens and the potato salad. Both were delicious! Greens were fresh and tender and they didn't skimp on the spicy. Mouth was burning after a few bites. In a good way.
Potato salad,.... Well let me just say this. First bite of the potato salad and I was instantly time warped back to being a kid and Mom making potato salad. It was delicious as well and totally reminded me of Mom's potato salad. My Mom passed away a couple years ago and this potato salad was a welcomed memory of her.
Overall a fantastic experience! Service was great, decor was nice and almost forgot,.... Great pricing on draft beers. Decent selection as well. Wife got a huge mug of Stella for $6 bucks.......like whaaaaat??

Good flavor but a bit pricey for a lunch. They have no lunch menu so expect to pay close to $20 per person. I got the BBQ pork ribs with the spicy sauce which had good flavor. Cole slaw was decent. Green beans were overcooked.

This was my first time here. Came with my mom and we had a blast. We sat on the patio which is gorgeous. Wish I took pictures but I'll definitely be back to do so on my next visit. It is a little pricy but you get what you pay for. They give you a lot of food and amazing quality as well. We got the 3 meats and 2 sides (#5) Chicken: fall of the bone amazing. Tri-tip: Delicious & Brisket: Looks just like the tri-tip but when you eat it you will instantly know the difference. It was melt in your mouth delicious 😋
We are going low carb so opted out of the BBQ sauce and still was amazing. We got the green beans and fried okra. Dipped those babies in ranch and it was amazing! The waitress was amazing and the whole experience was top notch. Will definitely be coming back on our next special occasion.
Great happy hour specials. You can't beat tacos or wings and a pitcher of beer for $20 while the NFL games are on. I love the pumpkin cider. The place is clean, the food is good, the staff is friendly and price is right. I love this place.
We made our own assortment combo and were completely satisfied, we got 1/4 lb of tritip, 1/4 of pastrami, sides of mashed potatoes, cloeslaw, & mac 'n cheese, because classics, & the peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. We got both the cpassic & spicy bbq sauces because we needed to try the comparison for science, both were amazing, the spice has subtle growth. We really should have ordered more pastrami and we were drying to try the sweet potato fries, guess we will have to go back for the other items that kept jumping off the menu at us. Decisions are hard when you are hungry.
The food was great and the service was even better. We took my friend here to celebrate his 88th birthday. I had called ahead to see if they had any kind of cakes and they said they did not , but we could bring our own. We decided to just go somewhere after dinner for dessert. But after we were done eating the server came out with a dessert with a candle on it. That really made his day. As for the food, it was all excellent. There was five of us and the bill was under $200 . And that was with two appetizers. My friends took a lot of food home with them. I highly recommend this food establishment. I believe our server was Elaine. But everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be eating here again.
Hambones is great bbq! Had the baby back ribs, mac n cheese and fries last night. The ribs were seriously perfect! I usually get the brisket on a bun and that is awesome as well. Several visits, no complaints.
