Very good cheese burger for $8.50. Have 8 large outdoor tables with umbrellas. Right on beach bike and walking path with pay parking a few feet away. Open in winter. Maybe a 1/2 mile from Huntington Beach pier.

All your favorite things in one place! Soft serve ice cream, smoked brisket sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches, frozen bananas, shave ice, electric bike rentals and even surfboards! Right on the beach , you can’t go wrong. Prices are reasonable as well. The brisket is smoked with red oak. Can’t wait to come back.

Food is tasty and very conveniently located right on the beach. It’s about $25 for two people but so worth it. Not enough ice in the drinks, it got hot after only a few minutes. The loaded fries looked amazing and seemed to be a lot of food. The burgers were very good. Lots of tables to sit at and eat.

Amazing burger but the iced coffees come from straight from a machine like gas station coffee. Not worth the money for the coffee, the mocha literally tasted like chocolate milk.

Had the most amazing experience with these folks! I grew up on this beach and Jack's was a very fond memory for me. Eating "taco strips" and renting surf rider rafts. We are back in CA for a 50th anniversary trip and happened to get an RV slot right behind them and I recognized the name. They were closed as it was mid week off season so I messaged them through FB to verify it was place place I remembered. A 4th generation "Jacks" owner messaged me right back and sure enough, they are the original Jack's! Even though they were closed for remodeling, they made me a big basket of their homemade taco strips with salsa! Thanks, Dustin, for a fun walk down memory lane!

Great snacks and drinks. Rental bikes for one or tandems for the whole group. Good fun 😁 Surfing gear for the beginner or pro. Also lessons if you need them

Good food and a great location to relax on the bike path by Tower 11. They rent bikes and surfing equipment, have firewood for sale and free ice water for your doggie.

Great customer service, the guys that worked on 8/13, were super awesome gave my fur babies some water, after hour bike rental.. and a Plus they Have a bin wirh dog treats and water dispenser for the furry babies who walk by!! We will definitely be returning!! Thank you Jack's rentals!!😊

Ok this might sound crazy, but I LOVE their nachos! Also their special sauce... kind of tastes like marinara with a sweetness to it. But hey! It's my thing. I always add jalapenos to my order. It's pretty cheap too. At ~4-5 bucks I can enjoy my nachos whilst relaxing and enjoying the view. Always had friendly staff and I've seen the owner there for many years. Still the same helpful nice guy over the passed 30 years I've been around :P

Jack's was amazing!! I was in town and staying nearby and needed to go surfing. I ended up chatting with Dave and Dustin (owners) and had such a great vibe from this family business. I went back 5 times in my 4 days there.
I happened to ask if either of the guys would paddle out with me and give a few tips to improve my semi-basic skills (from Colorado--no ocean). Dustin didn't think twice and said "sure I'll go out with ya!"
I cannot begin to explain the level of amazing customer service I experienced from my short time in Huntington with these wonderful people. It's so refreshing to meet others in a new city with great attitudes on life and so willing to help out!
I strongly suggest you drop by and become a friend of Jacks!! Totally worth your time :)

Terrible service. Would recommend Babe's or Zack's rentals for better service. You can find both of those rentals places in walking distance. Would not recommend whatsoever.

My favorite and only beach concession since 1977. The strips and cheese and sauce are the best. The Clapp family that runs the shop are some of the best people you will ever meet.

Best Strips and Cheese (freshly made tortilla chips with grated cheddar cheese). We've been getting these since the early 1970's.....Can't be beat!! Nicest people work there. It's one of the main reasons we always park ourselves at Tower 9, south of the HB pier! We, our kids and now our grandchildren LOVE these!!

My family has been going to Jack's since the day they opened and I've been going for 53 years. They have great food, family friendly service and extra beach fun stuff you can rent.
Don't leave without trying their cheese strips. Look for Jack's at the naked surfer statue & life guard tower #9. It's the best place on the beach!

That one star is way more than what they deserve. on April 12.2016 the rudest iv ever had to deal with in my life. Most likely cuz of our nationality, he was mean and rude to my 4 years old daughter, and he treated us as if we were aliens. Very disrespectful very rude and racist. Thank God rental places are all over the beach and the one we ended up renting from is walking distance from them and their service was great.
if you care about equality you shouldn't rent from this place. I wrote this review and I hope the guy will read it and take it serious and realize that the world is full of different people different colors everyone deserves to be treated the same.

I've been going to Jacks & "tower" 9 since the late 60's. My dad was born/raised in HB and knew the Clapp family. I took my kids growing up and now my grandson. Won't go anywhere else. Best strips & cheese around. Best service too. Thanks for the memories.
