Stopped for lunch and found plenty of specials on the menu. Decided on the Chile Relleno and Taco combo. You have the choice of either river OR beans. Still for under $10 found it to be a great value. Good flavors worth efficient service. Will go back and recommend to everyone.
Don José's has been there like forever, with good reason as they consistently serve high quality food. First rate complementary chips and salsa. My recommendation is to go by during lunch during the week when there are lunch plates for $12.
The salsa was 😃👍 great. Had the huevos rancheros and had to share it because there was so much food. The price was reasonable. Great spot to take the whole family had friends.
We had been a regular at their Lake Elsinore location (lost to Covid,) always stop in Riverside when in town but didn’t realize we had one close!
This was a Door Dash delivery and it was accurate, hot and well packaged.

Neighborhood staple for years. Been eating here for over 30 years now. Food is always good and the staff is friendly. For the most part long time employees. Not much has changed except they recently remodeled and feels brighter. Really big improvement!
The place is awesome.. a nice, chill vibe across the street from the beach. It looks "tough" and kills you with kindness. The staff were friendly and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The pork tacos were my favorite.
