Review Ways & Means Oyster House - Huntington Beach

Oysters were super fresh, and we had at least 8 types! The clam chowder was delicious as well. But what we really lucked out on was for Tuesdays they do a bottomless beer promo for 10$! Needless to say we made it well worth it. Our waitress V was super friendly and took great care of us. definitely recommend for any oyster lovers to check this place out. The views don't suck either😉

This place is awesome. The staff is great the food is fantastic the view is unreal. You can sit and see the Huntington pier when you're having dinner. I highly recommend the lobster roll and the lobster Mac and cheese. They make great drinks and always have whatever sports are going on in the bar on television. I absolutely recommend this really great place

I love this place! Great view and the most amazing staff ever. Our waiter Jacob was so accommodating and brought treats and water for our dogs. Also kids eat free with purchase! I felt so welcomed. Best fish and chips ever too!

Great new tappas restaurant in Pacific City. Beautiful views. You have to try The bacon wrapped shrimp.

Ok. We had the lobster Monday special... awesome. .. smashed potatoes, eggplant fries, bacon wrapped shrimp, fish tacos... Our bartender. .. waitress.. and awesome lady Diana was amazing... I rate you guys a 6... we will be back every time we come back from Colorado. .. oh and the Wm old fashion with dark rum was amazing. Great job Diana!!! We came back 1-16-17.1 yr anniversary. Great... bacon wrapped shrimp. Fish tacos. Lobster all wonderful. See you soon. Special on beer.lol Caitlin our waitress was awesome. Thanks girlfriend for making my retirement night special.

Excellent food. No tapatio or chalula hot sauce and not a fan of Tabasco sauce.

We had our office holiday dinner here on December 22nd. Food was delicious. The jerk salmon w/ coconut rice was one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. I tried dressed oysters for the first time and I like them! Their house-recipe cocktails are unique and VERY delicious. Atmosphere is casual yet aesthetically pleasing. Our server, Kaitlyn was delightful.

The food here is incredible and the restaurant has a great view of the ocean. It's tapas style with really reasonable prices for the flavor you get. It's been very kid friendly when we've gone (early afternoons). The service can waver sometimes, but the food more than makes up for it.

Our family was in on Monday 3/26 and we had a great time. We stopped in originally to grab a quick cocktail and oysters while some of our party did some shopping. That quick stop turned in to us all grabbing a table on the patio and enjoying more drinks and some great small plates for a couple hours! I meant to post this review sooner while I remembered our bartenders name so I apologize if I am wrong in calling her Bree. She was delightful and very accommodating to our family. My wife, son, and I were visiting from out of town so it was nice to be served by someone that was patient and willing to check on us without ever feeling pushy. We had some great laughs with the rest of our family on the patio that will result in many fond memories of our afternoon at Ways and Means. I will definitely make it a point to stop back in next time I am in HB as there are a lot more plates that I want to try! Cheers!

The staff is very friendly and helpful they are glad to be there and make you feel the same way. The food was phenomenal I had the madras dressed oysters for an appetizer and the salmon club for lunch. First the oysters were perfectly cooked and prepared wonderfully with just the right amount of "dressing" to enhance the flame of the oyster. Add for the salmon club the combination of the off the charts ausome aioli, candied bacon and high quality salmon made this the perfect bites. This restaurant definitely just got added as one of my favorites.

I was feeling adventurous when I decided to come in because I had never had really good oysters. With Andrew's help, however, I was able to expand my knowledge about this type of seafood while learning about my own preferences. Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable. He came back frequently to check on me and seemed to really care about my experience as a customer. While the oysters were extraordinarily fresh and delicious, the service Andrew provided was the favorite part of my experience.

A little spendy, but well worth it. We spent $100 for two people including food and drinks, but we were stuffed with leftovers and everything was delicious. The patio has a view of the ocean, and they will bring you a blanket if you get cold. I'm sure if you stay on the cheaper side of the menu and don't eat two days worth of calories in one sitting you could get out a lot cheaper than we did, but where's the fun in that?

Had dinner there last night with a friend. Even though it was a Saturday, we were seated pretty quickly. Got a table outside, which was nice. Fun menu, lots of choices, good food, good prices. We were able to try quite a few different items, which was fun. Drinks were good too. Nice, attentive staff. Definitely will return!

Fantastic time, great food! I ordered a total of nine items for the family of four to try. I could tell that everything I had was made right there, just for me and my fam! Biggest surprise? What a great burger!! I brought my whole family and we chowed down on lots of apps like the mac and cheese and cole slaw, my wife had the cod..superb! I love the atmosphere and felt like we had lots of attention. I will go back with my crew again.

All you need to know: Monday live lobster 9.99 for the first 200 people. Besides that the place has great drink specials and happy hour all day at the bar. Great seating outside for some people watching. You're very close to the beach and the pier
