Review Slater's 50/50 - Huntington Beach

Wanna eat at a cool sports bar? Follow mee. Highlights of the menu: 1. Ahi tuna poke nachos 2. 50 Alarm burger 3. Chicken wings in Asian BBQ sauce 4. Virgin mojito - since I was driving So cool to dine and play games at the same time. Full bar is definitely a plus! Casual sporty ambiance. But you have to pay for each individual games.

I have been here a few times now. Once was for a Christmas gathering, and a few times for happy hours. The staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere and setting is welcoming, with nice lighting especially because of the windows throughout the restaurant. I came last Thursday and there was a special for $1 beers all days ( select beers as seen in the picture on the plastic frame) and special $3 shots. Also all other drinks are 2 for 1 during happy hours! I did not have much time there so I had the chicken tenders with fries and 2 Jameson with ginger beer, and a beer. It only cost ~ $24 + tip. I will be back.

Awesome food, came out quickly and was very good but waiter never asked if we wanted drinks and disappeared for awhile. Also, music was so loud, I felt like my ears were ringing the whole time. I will definitely eat at Slater's again but maybe try a different location.

We had a great lunch here. My wife had the turkey lettuce wrap, and she liked it a lot. She really like the fries and wants to come back for the loaded fries on the menu. I had the bacon burger, it was so good with thick cut bacon. Our server was busy but did a good job as well. We can't wait for the new place in Torrance to open, much closer to home. We will be back soon. Great first impression. Thank you.

This is not your regular burger. My dining companions and I found ourselves in near heaven while eating our meal. It would be better to describe it as an experience for the taste buds. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. There are many TV screens so you can watch any sport that's playing. I always have a good time when I am here. My friends also enjoyed it. It was their first time but they will definitely be returning. Gotta try the Vampire Dip! A very enjoyable time!

To me it was just ok. We went there just because my husband likes burgers. And he enjoyed it. I liked their bacon ketchup and pumpkin sauce with sweet potato fries.

Love their burgers! The BBB Bacon burger and the PB and J burger are excellent. Bacon ketchup for the fries is a nice touch. Huge selection on beers on draft and great atmosphere. They also offer dining for your dog on outside patio with a menu of 4 or 5 different items available for them to enjoy. They offer a great lunch special for $10 Monday through Friday from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. which includes various burgers with fries or other menu items.

New Spot!!!! New location is great. Went for my sister's birthday and loving the location due to it wasn't packed. Order boneless wings and yes their wings are big pieces like chicken tender pieces. Didn't finish them....the flavor is alright. If I knew they be these big pieces, I would've ordered buffalo flavor. Just weird seeing the bar in the center aka middle of the restaurant. Staff was very accommodating and getting our drinks n food out timely even for the kids.

Absolutely fantastic meal !! Marcy our waitress was beyond nice and very helpful, Fastest service in the West! We tried the vampire dip which is cheese and garlic wonderful Stuff. It was also interesting that they had a painting class going on & didn't interfere with the meals at all, very fun experience thank you.

This place is always good. It has a fun atmosphere. The service is good. They are dog friendly and even have a doggy menu. They got new owners recently from what I hear and sometimes thats what you need to get the level of service you deserve. The parking is a little funky, but I never seem to have any problems finding a decent spot. They have a pool table now and are open to suggestions on how to improve. If you're simply visiting the area looking for a fun atmosphere or it's been a while and you miss the signature burgers, they still have those and even some improvements. I had the PB & Jellousy w/ tots a Mai Tai this time then a Rum & Cranberry I don't have a picture of. The PB & Jellousy is delicious but a little heavy for my normal eating habits. I'm sure it's amazing if you're a little hammered or have the munchies, if you know what I mean😉.

I hosted my gender reveal here in the patio with about 30 people and it was great. I messaged back and forth with Muoi and always received a fast and complete response. Ryan served my guests with 2 or 3 other servers and they were on it! Delivered everything timely, refilled drinks often, picked up often. My guests were all very comfortable and we had a lot of fun. All the food was delicious and we can't wait to go back just to enjoy good food, great service, oh and really good drinks from the non-preggo guests. I only saw 1 restroom that was near us in the patio but it was never an issue. It was clean and stocked always.

I always get the best service from Randy here. He’s awesome. The menu has a big variety. I recommend the he poki nachos, the slider are so good, high quality meat and juicy. The Margarita pizza is delicious, the cheese the basil, all the ingredients tasted really fresh.

Love love love this local spot!! I usually get the rosemary Turkey burger on a wheat bun and sweet potato Fries. This time we got the Brussel Sprouts w/ bacon. Definitely go here if you're in HB❤

The food was do delicious and the staff very friendly and professional. Great beer selection. The buffalo burger is my favourite. The restaurant does serve salads but it's the burgers that are so so delicious.

First impressions are hard to overcome. Mine was amazing. The wife and I were looking for something new and we had seen Slater's go in about two years ago near where we live. This location has had several restaurants / clubs / enterprises come and go so we had been waiting to see if this place would make it. From the moment we go there, the staff was amazing. When they found out it was our first time, they went the extra mile. Even the manager came over to our table to introduce himself and say how glad they were that we gave them a try. That's great and all, but what about the food? Again, what a thrill. It is American grill style food. Burgers, fries, onion rings etc. But the care and attention to detail was really impressive. It was clear they had taken the time to craft something unique and not just throw the frozen fries in the oil. I would highly recommend Slater's 50/50. Go get some!
