Review Mona Lisa Cucina - Huntington Beach

Food was good, a bit pricey but good service too. I would like to see an optional menu with pictures of the food. Thanks to all those that posted pictures as those helped my daughter with making her selection. I had the shrimp special which was full of flavor. Will be going back to try something off the regular menu. If it's your first time, let the staff know for you might get a dessert at the end of your meal on the house

It was my first time here for my first girls night out, it been awhile and we all craving Italian food, and our friend found this restaurant through yelp, our waitress Justine went above and beyond, answering all our questions about the food and also recommending some of her favorites entrees, we all enjoyed our food, plus were get a surprised tiramisu at the end of our meal. Thank you so much for an memorable memories. I will definitely come back next time.

Of you're expecting a top-notch and super-authentic Italian restaurant, well, this isn't one. But it's a heckuva lot better than Olive Garden, Romano Maccaroni Grill, Maggiano's and many other chain restaurants that will serve you unauthentic and bland pretend-Italian food. Prices are moderate, service is good, ambiance is OK, considering it's located in a strip mall.

We dropped in for a dinner after a work trip from Seattle, and I cannot praise this establishment enough. Welcoming, and provided a great atmosphere for our wrap up to the day. The dishes were fresh, unique in adding a mystery nut to the dish, and accompanied my vegetarian Manager. All around, phenomenal service, elegant and tasteful for a drop in.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Even better that it's Italian. They have my favorite Italian Beer and my Wife's favorite Wine. Everything is fresh and prepared to order. Our Waiter is Tony and he does a great job taking care of us. The place just went through a remodeling or expansion which was a bonus. The young kitchen staff works together great and prepares the food to meet expectations.

This is a great cozy, comfy neighborhood Italian Restaurant. I love the food here. Enjoyed the Pollo con Limmone, stuffed shrimp scampi and a good bottle of Malbec YUM!

Very welcoming staff. Nicely explained everything because it was our first time. Started with 2 salads, wedge with a homemade cesar dressing and the insalata beet salad. Both we cold, fresh and delicious. ( If some where can't make good a salad don't eat the hot food.) We split the risotto dish .. was fantastic, healthy portion enough for 2. Price was just under 50 We will be coming back to try more. THANKS GUYS

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Huntington beach's area. The food was delicious and my waitress was the lady with short hair. I don't remember her name, but she was very nice and friendly. I'm sure I'll return and bring my husband here to experience the excellent food and service.

My boyfriend and I are not italian food fans, but this place changed our minds. Nothing compared to Olive Gardens or other italian food places. This place was DELICIOUS! You can see the chefs cooking it, and it tastes so freshly cooked. The portions are big and well worth what you're paying for. Everyone here was kind, and the atmosphere felt so relaxing. Our server had great recommendations for drinks AND food, and she made us feel very welcoming. We will definitely be coming here again, because this place is now my favorite restaurant.

I was in town this weekend, and my friend recommended we try this place. I'm so glad we did, as the service was absolutely excellent, as was the food! We had: - Angel hair pasta with vodka sauce and chicken. I adjusted this a little bit as it usually comes with sausage & rigatoni, but they were so accommodating! The sauce and the pasta were so fresh, and just absolutely delicious. I highly recommend anything with this vodka sauce. - My friend got the wild salmon dish and she said it was to die for! - Cookie butter (or batter) cheesecake - the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life! They give a good-sized slice, and it took me three days to eat the whole thing! There's a lot of parking, and I suggest you get there early enough as they don't take reservations and it's a little bit small. But again, the service was so good and the food was amazing. I will be back next time in town!

This Italian Restaurant was amazing!! We were in town visiting the state of California and an employee at the rental car company recommended this gem. All I can say is, “wow!” What a treat to have been able to come here for a lovely dinner! The food was perfect and the service was on point as well. I highly recommend this fine establishment.

AMAZING dining experience. The restaurant is very small but they make it work well. The food is delicious and tastes very clean and fresh with fair prices and generous portions. The best calamari I've had in a restaurant. Perfectly cooked and soft with a great texture. Also the best tiramisu I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My waitress, Michelle, was wonderful and sweet and told us about the restaurant's history. Watching the chefs was a unique experience as well since the kitchen is visible from the bar seating. The chefs are all masters of what they do. They work like a machine and are extremely efficient working great with each other. Extremely impressive when you see how tiny their kitchen is and how skillfully they work inside it. One of the best restaurants I've been to in the area with kind people working there and delicious food with fantastic presentation and atmosphere.

We came from Portugal and we’re looking for Italian Restaurants and choose this one. The best Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach, CA. The food is phenomenal. I highly recommend Mona Lisa, fantastic, grazi! The best shrimp and sauce ever. Staff very friendly.

The restaurant expanded with outdoor seating, which practically doubled the capacity. Food is still as delicious as ever. Superb service with friendly staff. Kudos to Justine for taking care with us to make sure that we're hydrated while enjoying the wine. 02/2022 the restaurant has expanded in size and It is just as good as before. The service is excellent, the food is delicious.

Tonight I had a little mixup with my delivery. When calling the restaurant, Nicole helped me resolve my issue. She was polite, courteous and not rushed being a Friday night. I could tell there was a lot happening in the restaurant. Her customer service was exceptional. The food there is always amazing but most importantly, I appreciated feeling like I was a customer, and my concern was important. Thank you for making it right.

Wonderful 1st time experience! The food was excellent. The service was great! Staff is always attentive and polite, answering all questions. Worth a trip if you haven't been there or a revisit!

Wow!!! Came here for the first time to have a late lunch and it was a absolute incredible!! The waitress was beyond friendly and attentive, great service. The food was DELICIOUS!! The portions are HUGE! The kitchen puts in work and knows how to cook a fine meal. This is a very authentic Italian restaurant. You must come and try the food. It won’t disappoint. Will definitely be returning.
