Michael provided great service! The food was amazing!!! I posted my receipt so you see the dishes we ordered as well as the price. The portions were large. I recommend you share a dish unless you are super hungry. We both had leftovers. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was satisfactory; however, the girl who took my order over the phone was extremely rude. Even when I went to pick up the food, the staff's demeanor was unwelcoming and lacked basic customer service.
When we're out on vacation we want to experience the local cuisine, and breadth of experience matters. So when I say we visited Romano Cucina twice on our five day trip to Orange County that should tell you exactly how great the experience was. My wife loved the Rosa sauce with the penne; my favorite was the spicy sausage with the spicy red sauce and spaghetti.
If you're anywhere near Sunset Beach you will not be disappointed if you make Romano one of your stops.
This place is just the best. We visited LA last year, 2022, and went to this place 2 nights in a row because it's just delicious! There might be a little wait, but it's worth it!
We'll be visiting again now that we're married and we can't wait. It's been on our list of places to go before anything else this trip.
It's just delicious and tasty and not too terribly expensive, although they could charge more. If you have a few minutes to wait and are in the area, just go and enjoy!
The food is amazing. It is always very busy, the the staff is very attentive and always on top of their game. And I will say again...I love the food. My favorite is the eggplant Parmagiana with the rosa sauce.
We arrived just before the kitchen closed. We were greeted warmly and we were allowed to order. the food was very good and a clear recommendation for the pasta. can be highly recommended.
Romano Cucina Sunset Beach is the best Italian food I've had in the Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Sunset Beach area. I love Italian food and I have tried most of the restaurants in the area. Most of the other Italian restaurants are twice the price at 1/2 the quality. This is authentic Italian food at incredibly reasonable prices, highly recommend. Make reservations in season and all weekends, they get very busy.
Amazing local Italian eatery. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and inviting. Drinks are smooth and good. Atmosphere is nice and old fashioned. The house salad is great. The wedding soup is good. The pepperoni garlic bread is delicious. Just about all the food is great.
This is our new favorite restaurant. We got there right at opening and by the time we left, it had a line down the street!
The pasta sauce on the creamy lemon garlic pasta is to die for, and I seriously need a full jar of it.
The raspberry lemon drop drink is my new favorite, and I can't wait to come back and try other flavours.
Really great food. Probably one of the best marinaras I've ever had. It's worth noting the red sauce is not vegetarian friendly but they will swap it with the marinara on any dish. The eggplant parmigiana is absolutely phenomenal, and the staff and wait service is really great!
