Affogato - the must have.. After dining at La Rocco's, I was seriously in some need of cold, refreshing gelato. I opted for my very first affogato - 3 scoops of any gelato (in my case, tiramisu) drowned in your choice of chocolate or espresso. I opted for the espresso. How could I resist you, oh delectable affogato? You combine 2 of my favourite things. Gelato & coffee. I just wish that they'd had the Bailey's gelato. I didnt see it, anyway, but next time. Next time...
This guy makes the best açaí bowls… great value & great service… good place to give patronage to. He has stayed open late to let us enjoy our late night treats without rushing us out and he hustles when it’s busy. A local fave for sure
This was my first time visiting Mangiamo Gelato Cafe in Huntington Beach. What is cool and different about the gelato and cafe is that they offer a variety of in-house made gelato and pair it with acai bowls and espresso drinks. The gelato is also offered in smoothies for a very refreshing treat! The person who served us was meticulous in his presentation and thoughtfully perfected all orders. He really seems to want to please all guests and would ask if everyone was enjoying their order. We had a very pleasant gelato experience!
Mangiamo Gelato is absolutely a WORLD-class operation. My wife checks out every gelato shop on the west coast, looking for Hazelnut that is worthy of her taste buds. Once we found Mangiamo, I have returned every other week to make sure my wonderful wife always has that hazelnut delicious-ness at her fingertips in our freezer.
My fiancé and I absolutely love coming down to Main St for the Farmers Market and stopping in for a sweet treat. I always get the Affogato (espresso w/ 2 scoops of gelato), and she gets herself a scoop of gelato. We love it!

Absolutely the best Gelato in SoCal. Gelato is very specific and is different than ice cream. The Gelato here is exactly what gelato is supposed to be and they also always have a lot of excellent flavors to choose from. Tonight I had Peanut Butter Swirl and Double Chocolate. Both were delicious and the texture and consistency utter perfection. There are other really good gelato places out there but if you want the real thing and you want the best of the beat, this is the place!
the place was a bit busy when i went and i had an acai bowl, it was nice i really enjoyed it but there was limited seating though.
Easy place to stop at for ice cream if you're visiting the traditional tourist traps in Huntington Beach.
This place is amazing!! Love me some ice cream, but it always makes my stomach hurt. So, I always gear towards gelato. I always come here after the beach when I'm in HB.
The service is awesome, and the scoop size is great for the price. Never disappointed.
