We love coming here and sitting in the bar, having a few Mai Tai’s, a few hand rolls and sashimi. Amy, the bar manager, does an excellent job of seating us and keeping our food coming out in a timely manner. We are not fans of their cut rolls but the octopus is amazing when you ask for it cut very, very thin. With fresh, thin slices of lemon it is awesome. I have not liked it anywhere else but here. The Poorman hand roll is our favorite. Maybe because we don’t like seaweed wraps and this roll uses soy paper instead. Add a few fresh slices of jalapeño and it’s sensational. Their sashimi platter is one of my favorites. Very large platter to share with a friend or two. Their Mai Tai’s are different from the regular cocktail and they will knock you on your butt after a few. Beware! Great dark bar atmosphere and lots of regulars. We enjoy it at least once a month!

Wonderful experience. The service was great, the food was delicious. The scallops and filet mignon were cooked perfectly. The chef was funny as well. The ambiance was great. This place has an old school vibe with big portions and friendly staff. The quality of everything was great. The next time I'm in the mood for teppan, I'll be coming here.
