This is my Dad's all time favorite restaurant! It's fantastic! The crab legs are amazing and the filet mignon is absolutely incredible! It is a hidden gem and 100% worth the price!
This was my first experience dining @ Captain Jacks and I must say it exceeded all expectations. Food was exceptional! Good drinks, friendly, attentive servers. The only complaint would be it was a little dark but other than that everything was 5 stars🌟

Captain Jack's is a favorite of mine. I originally found it because I had one co-worker who is a pescetarian and another that wanted prime rib. I've been 6 or 7 times over the last five years, and I live in Texas so that's saying something. My co-workers love the prime rib, but it's all about the crab legs for me! I dream about those crab legs. Not to say that the salads aren't great, fresh, crispy, and they have excellent blue cheese dressing. And the garlic bread is mouth-watering, the clams and mussels are great too. But the giant crab legs with butter are the best! I highly recommend this place. Captain Jack's is a local legend.
Came in on a whim for a late night dinner, only thing open. Lady absolutely loved the crab legs, I ordered the prime rib and let me tell you the size of this thing! Looked like a dinosaur leg. Cocktails were almost to strong. I ordered a mule and ginger beer was definitely flat. Two people two entrees and one drink a piece was 226.00 before tip.
Captain Jack’s was impeccable! I hadn’t been there in a long time. It just reminded me of why I love this spot so much. King crab legs, mussels, clams, oysters on half shell, baked potato!! Love me some seafood. Service was awesome and the ambiance. We had a 20 min wait and that’s where we indulged in a couple of cocktails at the bar. We had a great time. Most definitely will be returning.
My son and I went out to dinner for my birthday. He picked Captain Jack's in Sunset Beach. They serve surf and turf. We started off with their hot homemade sourdough and pumpernickel breads with butter. Very yummy. For an appetizer, we decided to try escargot, which was delicious. Their house salad was practically full sized. They make their own dressings. We had Bleu cheese and it was heavenly. My son ordered King Crab legs. I ordered the half portion prime rib (12 oz) and shrimp scampi. All that was scrumptious. My son wanted to try a house drink so he ordered the Goombay Smash. I took a few sips and it was dangerous. Couldn't taste the alcohol but could feel it. 😳 Parking is a major debacle so wear comfy shoes in case you have to park far.
It was a excellent experience with excellent food and definitely excellent service by all. Absolutely enjoyed the dinner with friends.
Went Captain Jack's for my sister's birthday. Provide strawberry cheese cake for birthday occasions. The service and atmosphere were really good to pay extra tips, but I can't say food was great compared to the price. (+Hard to find parking)
Best place for crab legs. I had the lobster tail as well. Delicious! Service is always fantastic, but not obtrusive. Quiet, family friendly, neighborhood secret. perfect for birthday and anniversary dinners!
Crab legs seems to be the meal of choice. Seems the steak and lamb were flavorless but apparently they don't season their meat...? Incredibly loud atmosphere in a tight space. So factor that into your $90 plate. Very attentive staff. Each person had a different job/role for your dining experience with about 5 people waiting on you.
