The Allways Cafe

This place is an ABSOLUTE GEM! My family and I were looking for healthy choices in northeast philly and only could find chain restaurants(yuck!) So I pulled up this place and suggested we go. This place by far as the best food! I am very particular about food, and taste. Allways exceeded my expectation. I enjoyed the hot kale bowl and savored every skoop. The ladies who waited on us were so kind! Friendly and helped us find the perfect meal with patience. I will DEFINITELY BE BACK! If it were closer to my home, I would make a weekly visit here for sure! Check it out you wont be disappointed!

I had never tasted a real salmon until I came here to the Michelin star rated Herb Creamy Salmon. The Always Cafe has the absolutely the best dishes in the town. At here you are getting not only the most handsome guy to serve you, but you are having a journey of tastes dancing in your tongue. Strongly recommended.

Ugh where do I start??!??! Love this spot. Walking in it's like an earthy cafe type feel with clay art on the walls. Even under new management/ownership? they maintained the menu, which is exucuted beautifully. The food is always fresh. I'm always guaranteed my favorite butternut squash soup 🥰 and by far my favorite item on the menu is the thai peanut salad of which they always grill me up "real" chicken not that fake gristly stuff. There is not salad like it anywhere!!!! So much layers, crunch, and texture to the salad. If you looking for a quick lunch spot with a friend or coworker this is absolutely the place.

Always drive by this quite and peaceful place and decided give it a try today. Order salads and some other goodies by owner remanded. Supper fresh and delicious as well. Definitely come back with family and will recommend to other friends too. Have to give this young man a chance. He will surprise you with his amazing food.

This place definitely deserves the vegetarian restaurant award of Philly! Everything here is delicious and unique. My husband got the sweet potato quesadilla and I got the pumpkin soup.The quesadilla was AMAZINGGGGG, the outside is crispy and the inside is supper fresh and flavorful. My pumpkin soup was pretty yummy as well, I like the golden color, creamy texture and especially the pumpkin’s natural aroma. By the way, the chocolate cookies is the best comfort food if you're fond of sweets like me. We will definitely come back.

I'm a little late in posting my review. I visited this place a few months ago back in September 2018, I believe. I would have given it five stars however I had to give it three due to an issue I had with the menu.... The food is really good. Unfortunately the menu they have online does not match the menu they have in reality. Before going there for the first time I looked over their menu online on THEIR WEBSITE. There were 3 or 4 dishes I was having a really hard time deciding between. I got there - and surprise - all four of those dishes they did not actually have on their menu!! The menu was completely different from what was featured online! Very disappointed! However, the food I did end up ordering was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and go there again. I would just warn anyone against going by the menu on their website. If the OWNER has happened to see this: For the love of God update your website! It's 2019, a web presence that accurately reflects your restaurant and its offerings is very important.
