Soho Restaurant

SoHo is one of my favorite places for Chinese food. But yesterday we ordered a pupu platter. After cutting up the teriyaki it was raw. When we told the waitress, she got a plate from the table behind us and picked the cut up pieces right off the my plate, took them to the kitchen, cooked them again and brought them back to me. I never seen a waitress take uncooked food off a plate that was already eaten off of. I know times are tough right now, and my thought was, they're tough for me too, and that's why I left the minimum tip required. And I would normally leave a much bigger tip than 20%. Mostly, I will return, but it'll take some time to get over this.

Really good Chinese food for a decent price. We got the pu pu platter for two and it was great. The fried food was fresh and crispy and the beef teriyaki was tender and full of flavor. Sesame chicken and house rice was also great. Had a chance to meet the owner, May. She was very nice and checked to see if I was happy with the food and service. Not a cursory “is everything okay?” She really does care about how they are doing. It’s her place and wants to make sure her customers are happy. Alice was our waitress and checked in with us regularly to see if there was anything we needed. The restaurant itself is very nice. Everything was clean and organized. The seating and tables were in great shape. Nice ambience too with the calm lighting. There’s plenty of parking outside. It's not super well lit, so you need to be careful of people driving like knuckleheads in their pickup trucks racing across through the parking lot, presumably so they can get to the bar before it closes (yeah, I encountered one of those folks when I was leaving). The entrance to the restaurant is well lit, and has gentle tiered ramps for handicap access. They have music playing outside in the deck area if you'd like to eat outside. Only downside I could find was the bathroom was kind of shelled when we got there in the evening. It smelled fine and there were no superheroes who the missed the toilet. Just the waste baskets were full and there was paper on the floor. I wouldn't knock it too much though. They don't have a lot of staff and everyone was busy working and trying to eat a little bit of food when they got a moment. I'm sure every evening thing is restocked and cleaned. We went on a Friday night so the bathroom situation is totally understandable. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back to give them more business. This is one independent restaurant that I want to see survive the scamdemic. Great bunch of people and Chinese food!

Came in tonight for dinner and it was amazing! We just recently moved to nashua and have had the worst luck finding decent Chinese! We decided to venture out to Hudson and we are so glad we did! Food was delicious! Everything on the pu pu platter was great! Rice, chow mein, beef and brocolli, and general gaus chicken were all delicious as well. Our waitress was great as well! When we ordered general gaus chicken she made sure to ask us if we wanted it less spicy because our young son was with us! I thought that was very nice of her to ask us. Blue Hawaii drink was strong and amazing! Would defenitly go back, very clean and nice ambiance!

I really enjoy the Soho..But lately I have noticed a difference. I ordered Lobster sauce, and could of eaten it through a straw was so thin and had no taste at all. Then went again, and the house fried rice, again no flavor..The cook is forgetting something. I love the people there, they are always friendly. But I think they should take notice that something is going wrong. Still loyal so far...
