Delicious food, great staff, and the restaurant and market does NOT have a fishy smell which is a great sign of fresh fish and seafood! Excellent place, definitely going back again! Highly recommend you check them out!

The Soft shells and crab claws are delicious! Very relaxing dining out side. Would definitely recommend this place. It's clean and the service is excellent. And it's a byob! Wish they stayed open later.
Just tried Woolley's for the first time and everything was delish! We had the lobster bisque, blackened tuna bites, oysters on the half shell & the broiled seafood combo! Can't wait to come back to Woolley's! ���
I have been a customer of Wooleys since the 1970's always good food and service until today. The Bandit behind the counter insisted that the Jumbo Shrimp were smaller than the large but I was being charged for Jumbo and as I continued to allow him out of his SALES ROUTINE by asking him if he was sure he continued to BS me that Jumbo were smaller and were more expensive. It caused me to leave NO SALE. I went to my local seafood shop here at home and I was able to buy a dozen blue claws for what it would have cost me for 3 at Wooleys..... have I been getting hosed at Wooleys for 40 years..... OH Yeah I do think so, but never again. Crime did pay for me today. Maybe not for the Bandit at Wooleys Rte 9 Howell NJ. Another tradition Bites the dust

Was there 4 times in the last 2 months...food was delicious & service was excellent! Bought my mom & dad there Saturday...they also enjoyed it!
Had soft shell crab sandwich it was amazing. New England clam chowder was do good also.
Went to the market today and was impressed on the selection they sell. The workers were working so hard for there customers and I was happy to see a tip jar for them. Merry Christmas
Took my mom and Dad! We had a fantastic lobster, broiled combo and crab cakes. So good and waitress was fabulous!!! Fresh food friendly service and homemade desserts .... Save room for the peanut butter pie!!!! Outstanding
This is definitely a fish market/Eatery. The food is delicious but the atmosphere is definitely not high end though you think for the price that they charge you would be getting more.
So to put it short, the food is good, the prices are a bit on the high side for the atmosphere that you're getting. I went there during the off-season, namely the winter, and it wasn't very well heated. I have been passing by this place for years and finally decided while in the area I would stop in here for a meal. Maybe I expected a little bit more since it's been in business for so long.
When you walk in, it looks like a cozy house. There is no official, stop here sign but they greet you with lots of smiles. I found this place to be very cozy and friendly. The menu is pretty extensive. I tried the crab wonton, which were the BEST I've ever had! Hubby had the Fried Calamari dinner, which he couldn't finish. I even helped, but it was a large portion.
I had a dozen oysters and clams, which were HALF the cost and super Yummy. Last, our server Catherine, was OUTSTANDING! Super friendly and had great energy. Can't wait to go back very soon!
We had a GREAT Valentines dinner was excellent as always!! We shared the seafood pit for two everything was cooked to perfection. The server was amazing and she was working alone covering the entire restaurant Yet excellent service!!
What an awesome restaurant. They were so accommodating from the moment I called to make a reservation. We were treated like family the second we stepped inside. Food is fresh from the seafood market and you can taste the difference. Everything is made to order per your liking. Highly reccomend. The staff is super quick and friendly we never had a dirty plate on the table for more then a minute.
Great place for lunch/dinner. Food was hot, fresh & delicious. I've been here a few times when I'm in the area, my new go-to place for great seafood!
