I had the original beef pastie and it was the best I've tried so far. It was so close to the way my mom made them. I loved the balance of vegetables and meat. The crust was perfect. This is my new go to place when visiting Michigan. If you want a good traditional pastie check this place out!
Their customer service is outstanding. Katie and Marilyn are the best! They took care of all the details from my order. Everything arrived to NYC in perfect condition.

I love this store!! So many amazing gift options, and the pasties are to die for!! Fresh and fantastic every day. I'm very impressed with the stores commitment to quality. Whoever is in charge of their purchasing really deserves a gold star because they are always coming up with unique new products and food options. I love being able to get a pasty and sit outside and enjoy downtown Howell. So happy the store is doing well!!
We decided to visit this morning because we love our state and love Michigan products. We enjoyed our visit, seeing a great variety of Michigan things. Great selection, great atmosphere, only thing I would want to see different is a bigger space with even more products. We also purchased pasty poppers and a couple of Pasties. Poppers were REALLY good. The price was very reasonable. Thanks for a great shop.

Excellent online store!! I ordered all my family in Mississippi packages from here for Christmas! Everything arrived in a timely manner and in excellent packaging. I only live a short drive from the store, I've got to visit soon!! I'm sure it's even better in person!
What a wonderful experience we had sending gifts to our friend! You guys had reasonably priced branded gift boxes that we filled with Michigan goodies and best of all, you wrapped and shipped the package and emailed me the confirmation. Our friend received the package in a couple days and is already loving the snacks and candle.

The staff at Heart of Michigan could not be kinder. We order lunch from them a lot and they are so nice and quick to accommodate us. They even remember treats for Tater and save us many days when we cannot leave. They have the neatest items and the BEST FOOD! Thank you for being such a super merchant neighbor and asset to Downtown Howell! Love the girls (and pug) at Silverstone Jewelers!

Today was my first of many visits to this store. They carry Burgdorfs wine! All items geared towards Michigan. I will be back for sure.
I ordered a gift basket for a customer. There was an issue with the delivery to my customer. I was very disappointed. The CEO reached out to us and made things right. Our customer was sent the basket that they should have gotten and HOM also send us a basket as well. Thank you HOM for the basket, we received it on our 8th Anniversary.
Easy to navigate store even with a small stroller. Shelves are stocked, neat and clean with a good variety of Michigan products. Love the pastie selection and thankful to be able to enjoy them downstate. Employees are pleasant and on hand to help their clients. Ice cream is a bonus for sure!
Stopped in for the 11th anniversary and was so glad we did! Tasty samples of MI made products, friendly & helpful staff, and nostalgia everywhere! The pasties are amazing and love they have vegan options too!
