Recently had our Company Holiday Party at Dukessa. The staff was extremely supportive of all our needs for this event. The employees have expressed how much they enjoyed the space and accommodations. Food was very good and served on time. I highly recommend booking your next company event at this venue.
Amazing venue, delicious food and great service. Staff was very organized and able to handle multiple requests for our business dinner and presentation series.
Our university has used Dukessa to host several events in past years and this year too. The team at Dukessa is always a pleasure to work with and make the planning process seamless. We look forward to hosting many more events at their venue.
I had my wedding at Dukessa in November and it was the BEST. DAY. EVER! My favorite thing about this venue was that we had the whole space to ourselves! The courtyard is absolutely gorgeous at night with all of the lights and fountains!
They made the planning process so easy and answered all of my (many) questions quickly! The day of, I didn't get to see the venue until after my guests got there for the reception, and everything was perfect! Everything was in the exact spot as discussed with the venue director.
The waitstaff and bartenders were very attentive and polished. My guests raved about the food and cannot stop talking about the venue!! I would highly recommend Dukessa!
My husband and I just got married at The Citadel and we could not be happier with the whole experience that they gave to us. We know for sure it was the best choice of having our wedding there. The staff is very responsive, helpful and respectful. The entire venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food is very delicious, the landscape is beautiful. Citadel and staff did not disappoint. The staff at Dukessa is phenomenal. Throughout the entire process they are diligent at making sure each and every detail matches your exact vision. Everything is always "yes we can make that happen", which is very calming for a bride. The venue alone is beautiful, but even more so when elegant décor is added. There are multiple areas for guests and even with a large guest count, it doesn't feel cramped. There is plenty for your out of town guests to do with this venue so close to the Galleria in the heart of Houston. Ema was absolutely amazing. Her personality really made the whole wedding process a breeze. I had an excellent experience with Dukessa!
We just got married here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location in Houston, beautiful inside, outside courtyard area and set up. There was plenty of parking with valet included for our guests. It was a dream venue and the Dukessa team is wonderful to work with. Norma and Ema are amazing to work with and are so helpful the entire way through.
Beautiful venue. Enough room for a wedding downstairs and reception upstairs. The outdoors were very pretty as well. I Wish I took more pics of this place because it was outstanding. My only complaint is that work was being done on the sewers in the parking lot, during the wedding, which really stunk it up. But only noticed when I was leaving so it wasn’t too much of a problem. I would love to come back here for another wedding.

I had an amazing wedding at the Dukessa earlier this month. Norma and Emma were incredible - they thought of literally every detail possible, knew all the answers to my questions, and were so responsive via email in between our meetings. I looked at a few venues as most couples do, but what I really liked about Dukessa was the following:
1) Your event will be the only event that night
2) The architecture is absolutely beautiful without looking overly gaudy like some other places I looked at
3) There is plenty of room upstairs, downstairs and in the courtyard so you don't have to turnover rooms in between. You have plenty of space with your guests and each of these areas are beautiful
4) You can design 2 different ways to walk down the aisle
5) Location was great - it was close to the galleria area and there was ample (and safe!) parking for guests.
6) The food was AMAZING. I've never had better wedding food in my life and all my guests were raving about the cauliflower risotto
I've been working with the Dukessa over the past 2.5 years on and off since I had to reschedule my wedding due to covid and I want to give a HUGE shout out to Norma - as soon as she came into the picture I felt extremely at ease. She is so good at wedding planning and is always working with you. I never once felt that she judged any of my decisions and she always tried to say "yes" because she really wanted to try to make my wedding day as special as it could be. On the day of the wedding, Norma & Emma organized the wedding so extremely well that I couldn't even think of a single flaw! Moreover, the Dukessa staff were all so incredibly polite and kind. If I could choose to redo my wedding all over again, I would plan it right here at the Dukessa.
KIPP Houston High School was able to have our 2023 Senior Prom at Dukessa and it was a total success! The students enjoyed themselves, they had a great DJ, the food was delicious, and the dessert was spectacular!! Thank you Ema and Team for your support!
