Review Lions Den Kitchen - Houston

This restaurant was a great experience. We dined in with 3 kids and they all loved it. First of all, the waitress was amazing and the restaurant was pretty full. They serve popcorn while you wait. We ordered potato skins as an appetizer. These things were huge. We ordered 3 lasagna and a large Hawaiian pizza. Lasagna came with soup or salad. Breads sticks were delicious also. Highl recommend 💚💯💯

This place is AMAZING! And they have old hall of fame pics on the wall when you come in and real college and pro football helmets on the walls! Great place to eat! AND they are open for lunch on Sunday's again for the Lion's games!

You had me at free popcorn. Nice menu, lots of the classics. Nice selection of gluten free options for those who need it. Prices are reasonable, service is wonderful and it always feels like home.

A place in Waterford that's been here for years and years. I dined here back in the 1980's. Had not been back for 35 years since I moved out of state. Nice to return and try it again! It's a favorite of the locals for good reasons! Plenty of parking. Casual atmosphere but a lot of space and seating inside, so you don't have to wait too long for a table, even at busy times. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. All American menu with a large selection of good home cooked food that's reasonably priced. The food has always been extremely good to excellent. We throughly enjoyed our experience and I highly recommend!

Had the chicken marsala. It was absolutely delicious 😋 and the prices are nice. Service was on point. Thank you Lions Den for a great meal.

Had a larger group for dinner, 3 people had prime rib (they said it wasn't great), 1 had fish and chips (he liked it), 1 roast beef sandwich (he said "always a good choice"), 1 had chicken picatta (sauce was really thin), and I had blackened chicken Alfredo (it was pretty good just not a lot of sauce). Prices on food were a little higher than other places. We had various mixed drinks and each person wasn't really loving their drink. Drink prices were reasonable. The server was very polite but she was a little overwhelmed. We will likely be back to give it another chance.

A very pleasant experience. Our server was very nice and accommodating, especially considering we had a baby with us. The food was good. It seems like a very nice, community restaurant. We'll be bringing the family back.

We had not been here for years! My father and my mother used to come here all the time. So, we thought it would be nice to bring my 91 year old father in for dinner. We were not disappointed. My father was very excited to have the clam strips. He loved them. My burger was done perfectly. My wife's salad was very good. All around great place. Not a Condé NastTraveler 5 star, but good.

One of our favorite places to visit when I come back to Michigan to visit. The Lion's Den is a great family restaurant that can also makes for a great date night, which is how my wife and I enjoyed it the last time we were in town. What first draws us to the place is the Michigan vibe, something unique that you don't find in a chain restaurant or outside of MI, obviously. IlAn added layer is the football decor; it's very complimentary and not over the top. The food is fantastic. Love the pizza and fish and chips. My wife's salad this last time was well balanced with protein and toppings. Finally, the service is super friendly, especially if you eat at the bar.

Always a great meal. Prime Rib is delicious. Probably cooked the night before, when served it is never warm. Pizza great. Pasta dishes outstanding. Chicken noodle soup was a joke. No chicken and not even as good as Campbells out of the can.Fancy noodles but not a good representation of this restaurant. Servers are very attentive. Need a good meal go to the Lions Den. .

Salad was good. Mashed potatoes were decent. Fries were good. Fish on the fish sandwich was REALLY good. Prime Rib? I ordered medium well and it was just....weird. One side was seared and the other seemed saturated in water like it was boiled. It was an even cook throughout which was a barely cooked gray with blood throughout. Something about how it's cooked is off....not much flavor and what is there is a little weird.

This is a wonderful dining experience. The staff is warm and friendly, my friend and I wanted a leisurely dinner and our waitress was very accomadating. The food was fantastic, we had the prime rib and the filet mignon and both were cooked just right. The atmosphere is very homey and relaxed... all in all a wonderful experience!
