This restaurant offers real Vietnamese Hue cusine! Not your average pho 😅. The food is flavorful and of good quality, and the portion sizes are generous. I like “Banh it tran” and “Banh Nam” - their sotf, sticky, steamed glutinous gems inside banana leaf. There is a restaurant in Saigon with the s
loved the crystal dumplings here. service is kind but they are understaffed and not busy enough for the quality of those crystal dumplings.
The crystal pork and shrimp dumplings were delicious, the seasoning on the protein was flavorful but not overly salty. They provided fish sauce with REAL cut up chili peppers, which was fresh and spicy! This restaurant definitely specializes in Hue dishes more so than I've seen before which is real
This place hit the spot for authentic Hue style food. I had the shrimp and crab udon soup that had homemade noodles and a thick, rich, savory soup base. Eat it while it's hot and broth is thick as it thins out as it cools. I got the combo plate #2, pretty solid but I think I prefer the ones fro
They have delicious authentic food that's hard to find anywhere. If you want to try good Vietnames food, it's the best choice.
We were craving good Vietnamese after a 5yr absence and Nam Giao did not disappoint! Great flavours and quality is the same as we remembered. We love the sticky, steamed glutinous gems inside banana leaf. The grilled pork plate was charred and yummy with the rolled vermicelli/lettuce wraps. Friendl
Unique hue only style food with lots of glutinous options. Noodles and rice for all together pallets flavours. Known for their banana leaf and mochi plates by 6, 16, or 32 options. Will definitely come back to try more. Nice hidden gem before it starts getting too popular with long waits. Service an
We had the combo platter (#4), the grilled chicken with vermicelli (#36) and the banh xeo (#27). We enjoyed the banh beo (steamed mini rice pancake #1) and banh bot loc (pork and shrimp crystal cake #3) but not the banh nam (#2). The grilled chicken with vermicelli was good! The crispy rice pancak
Like others, I came here after seeing Nam Giao in Ugly Delicious. This food was different from any Vietnamese food I've ever tasted and makes me realize how much food I have yet to taste from different cultures. We really enjoyed combo platter #1 and especially loved the Banh Bro Chen/steamed mini
My first experience and an authentic Vietnamese restaurant- I had never had any of the dishes we got and not one disappointed. We did the sampler appetizer that were all delicious, a hot soup and a few more items (I honestly don’t recall their names since I wasn’t the one ordering but only eating).
Very traditional, filling Vietnamese food in a no frills setting. I recommend getting the appetizer platter if it is your first time. My favorite dish was the Bah Quai Vac (pork and shrimp dumplings). The texture of the rice wrappers was so chewy!
I saw this place on Netflix (ugly delicious) so I thought I'd try it. Did not disappoint. All the food was prepared quickly and thr staff was friendly. The food was amazing. The bun bo hue was very flavorful and the assortment of meat was spot on. Could have been spicier but it was still great.
Dear Nam Giao owner and staffs, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional service and incredible food that you consistently provide. Dining at your restaurant feels like a warm, comforting hug – just
Great restaurant if you're looking to diversify your Vietnamese cuisine dining outside of pho. Popular for banh beo, a tapas style small plate made from rice / tapioca flour topped with different savory options.
Very interesting authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The noodles is well presented with braised pork in it. However, wish the shrimps can be more fresh. Yellow noodle texture is chewy soft and the broth is tasty. The steamed appetisers is a must try. Would give 5 stars if the shrimps are fresh.
It was our first time trying vietnamese cuisine that isn't pho. We have seen this spot from an episode of Ugly delicious on Netflix. True to what was said on the episode, food are great. We tried a lot of appetizers. It is delicious and different experience. Most of the dishes we tried are savory. T
This is an amazing place for authentic HuĂȘ style Vietnamese food. We had some BĂĄnh BĂšo ChĂ©n as an appetizer, which were delicious rice pancakes. I got the Com TĂŽm NuĂłng(excuse my lack of proper punctuation), which was some of the best grilled shrimp I've ever had. The portion size was very good for
One if the best Vietnamese restaurant in Houston. This place has great food for a great price. The owners of the restaurant are very nice and welcoming and they are gonna add more veggie options to the menu. This one best and up and coming restaurant here in Houston. Go support them.
Came here for some tasty snacks. Very authentic Vietnamese options.
