Good customer service and a welcoming staff. I paired the menudo with a cup of hibiscus tea, which was a little too sweet for my taste but went well with the menudo. It was tasty and filling to have the hot, spicy soup with warm, freshly prepared corn tortillas. With classic Mexican dishes available and more to come shortly, this tiny eatery is well worth the trek.

First time visit for my daughter and me. It was so homey without it being kitchy. The food was cooked so well. Flour and corn tortillas were homemade. The poor 2 ladies were handling all the tables by themselves. The food was worth it though. Will be returning next time we are on that side of town.

05/20/21 update: this restaurant was going downhill after my initial review. Maribel quit and the food quality & service was very bad. I don't know why but I decided to stop by again for breakfast. Immediately I recognized a new decor that aesthetically is much better. The wait staff is very good again & the food quality has improved tremendously. The new owner stopped by our table & gave us a free sample of barbecoa street tacos which were delicious.
I will be returning & highly recommend this restaurant. 👍👍👍

I tried this place a long time ago for dinner and it ended up being good... Every since then I didn't come back for years... Until recently I tried the breakfast here wondering if it was going to be good and it was delicious... I will be coming back here again...

Good service with very friendly staff. Had the menudo with a glass of hibiscus tea, and while the tea was a little too sweet for my liking, the menudo was more than good for me. The hot spicy soup was savory and satisfying, paired with warm homemade corn tortillas made to order. This little restaurant is very well worth the drive, offering traditional Mexican cuisines with more to come very soon.

Great authentic food! Crispy tacos were excellent, the cheese enchiladas and carne asada plate was awesome! The menudo was perfect!
