10/10 I'll be back again. Hot fresh fish. The green beans were perfect. They close at 2130.
Had a chance to try them out for the first time and ordered the fried catfish po'boy with fries. The sandwich was dressed well but I wish the fried catfish had more flavor. I couldn't really taste it and it didn't help that the piece was a bit small and thin compared to the size of the sandwich. I also was not a huge fan of the roll used. The good thing is the roll did not fall apart or get terribly soggy with the sauce but the roll was a little tough. However, I have heard that good rolls are hard to find in the southwest because of the hard water so I won't hold that against them(I'm originally from the Northeast where it's easy to get good rolls). The fries were great though and they give you a lot. I wasn't expecting the fries to be as good as they were: thick but not starchy at all and crispy. The people there are very friendly and the service is great. I would go back again but try a different menu item.
Went back a second time and tried the Cajun pasta. It was excellent, definitely recommend. This place is good but they have a huge menu, you have to know what to get.
I passed by this place several times taking my kids to the eye dr and I kept forgetting about them. But when I tell you this is a hidden gem. I stopped here on my way to get my girls, from my ex mother in law and it was her birthday so I stopped to get dinner. I was looking at the menu and the guy suggested a meal for us that would be better. The food was delicious so I told my brother about it and he tasted my shrimp fried rice, and a week later I took him. Lol and one of his running buddies is a foodie so he took him there. We picked up a menu and have decided to try everything on the menu and mark it off as we get it. I called in our second order and it was ready shortly after we got there. I should’ve known on the first visit that it was going to be great when a lady came to pick up her 100 piece fish family meals. Oh I forgot the family meal came with 25 pieces, I mixed mine with fish and shrimp, it also came with deliciously seasoned fries, garlic bread, coleslaw and red beans and rice. I’d give them 10 stars ⭐️ if I could.
First time was about 3 or 4 years ago searching for something for my grandmother. The food was on point from my grandmother's perspective and that's all that matters to me. My platter wat good as well. I still frequent the business cause it's a clean establishment and we love the food. It's my top 3 choices for seafood.
The food was authentic, perfectly prepared, served hot, & ample portions were plated. The very sweet, professional, & knowledgeable young man who took our order & brought our food went above & beyond to make certain our meal was just right. We loved the small diner atmosphere, except that they were having A/C problems the night we were there. However, the fans made a good breeze & we were plenty comfortable dining there. Pro tip: Try the boudin balls & the grilled redfish. Soooo good! 💖
The food is really delicious here. I can't lie. Hot off the grill. I might have to come back and give them five stars
Very nice very friendly hood food choices they quick and always make sure the customer has everything highly recommend
This place is a Gem. I found them on Yelp. Shrimp fried rice has a little spice to it. Love it! Took a to go menu on my way out. I deffinatly will be back to try thier other dishes. Cajun pasta is my next must try. 😋
I ordered the blackened chicken & shrimp which comes with 2 sides (I got red beans & rice which is considered 2 sides along with mixed veggies). Food was fresh & seasoned well. They say the wait would be 15 mins but be prepared to wait a little longer than that.
I've worked over here for 4 years and never tried this place til today. Holy cow! This is a hidden gem. Everything was delicious. The wine cream sauce is ah-maze-ing!
