We were very surprised with the food. The shrimp cocktail was big and very well served. The tacos were delicious, especially the chicharrón and lengua, with a lot of meat. The service was fast and very kind!

In my quest to find the best menudo in town, We came to this place. Menudo here is delicious, meat is tender and the soup is light in my opinion; meaning greaseless (which is good) however, the flavor was a litle bit hard to catch maybe because the white homeny (corn) wich is a choice in the menu, once added it fades the flavor. I will come back for more (without corn)

Amazing food and very clean restaurant. Real, authentic Mexican food. Their queso flameado with chorizo was fantastic. Their green salsa is spicy but not overwhelming. Their special is the molcajete that comes with sausage, shrimp, chicken, fajita, and cactus. The sauce it comes with is spicy (in the best way) and flavorful. Their tortillas are handmade and fresh (ours were made literally 10 seconds before they were brought to us). Overall, in a town full of Mexican food, this place is a must-try.

The food was great! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good Mexican food. They have a variety of choices and the prices are great! I had the menudo and it was amazing. It was cooked well and the flavor was great. Definitely will be coming back here when we come back to Houston and try the rest of the menu.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Houston area! If you love authentic/Tex mex food this is the place for you! Ordered a SMALL menudo bowl and there was nothing small about it which took me by surprise but the tripe was cooked to perfection! The main dish of what I ordered were the Tacos al Carbon filled with delicious fajita and cheese, hit the spot! Flour tortillas are made from scratch and there are a variety of desserts for afterwards: Tres leches, strawberry cheesecake for those cheesecake lovers, flan, chocoflan, Pan dulce, etc. You name it!
