Flavors African Cuisine

My worst dining experience ever and I've traveled extensively. From the entrance you could tell we were in for a nasty surprise. The bathrooms were horrible, the restaurant was empty, we were served with plastic cups/plates. Canteen feel with an upmarket price tag. The waitress was nonchalant at best, the moi moi was cold. For the first time in my life I had green pepper soup with bits and bobs straight out of Hogwarts dispensary. The egusi soup resembled vomit and had i distinctly acidic after taste. I wonder who wrote the five star review for this poor excuse for a restaurant. As I write this review I am still suffering from stomach cramps.... and being a man, its not my time of the month. We should have guessed from the start, but out of misplaced patriotism we soldiered on. We were there for a celebration, but it turned into a Nigerian food nightmare. If they claim this is the best African restaurant in Texas, someone is blatantly lying. I run a Nigerian restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria and I know what standards should be. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
