This was my first time sampling Nigerian cuisine. Staff were very warm. The food was rich and didn’t take long to come out.

Its really nice the jollof is spicy and tasty, I don't like jollof generally so yes theirs is really good. I love their banga/ofe akey stew, I use it for rice instead of swallow the only complaint is when I order it for rice they give me a very small plate of rice, like a side dish which makes no sense honestly . The nkwobi is mid, it's more like they put soft ponmo than cow foot , its spicy but flavorless .their moist moist is nice and rich with fish and corn beef, very delicious, I like the fact that the white rice place comes with a side of white beans, veggies and plantain and almost always the plantain is ripe and soft and delicious as it should be. the workers are nice most times but you can tell the days their stressed and gave the service a 3 because they never give you utensils for to go items... I've ordered a lit of times to go and they never put a napkin or forks/spoons nothing, which socks most times because if I'm not home I have to look for where to get a spoon before I could eat. Overall, I didn't give it a 5 star because it has quite a few down sides but it's a decent 4 because the upsides make up for the most part.

Parking was easy. Restaurant was clean. We were sat right away. Blessings, our waitress, made great recommendations with drinks, appetizers, and entree. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Food was delicious!! We had a lovely evening! Thank you!!

I recently visited Taste of Nigeria for the first time on 7/19/2023 I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and felt welcomed throughout my entire visit. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure that all of my needs were met. The menu had a great selection of dishes to choose from, and everything that I ordered was prepared and tasted great Pounded yam with goat meat and Egusi. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Nigerian food and service. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!

This is my 2nd time here. Both times were SPOT ON! I will continue to patron this place! I come this past weekend for my birthday. Yes, I drove all the way out there for the pounded yam swallow and Egusi! The staff are beyond kind. The owner makes everyone feel at home. I enjoyed sitting and waiting on my food while looking at the different drink, art work and listening to authentic music playing. There is nothing better than being at a place that has so much of their culture being represented in the establishment! Of course, I will be back as this is my favorite place now. Cockerill Egusi with Pounded yam 🍠 swallow ❤️
