This place has changed owners/management and is now called El Patron. The food is really good. Taste and quality is awesome. This will be the only Mexican place I go to from now on. I think the past reviews in here are from the previous owners/management. Please give this location another visit. Ate there twice this week (group of 5) and both times the food was great. Mini tacos and charro beans with a side of rice. Wish I would of taken a picture to post.

I really love coming to eat here. I think my favorite plate is the #1 house special, carne asada with nopales( grilled fajitas with cactus). The food always taste great and the service is good. If you're ever on the east side of Houston and are in the mood for some great authentic Mexican food at a very good price I suggest you give them a try!

i googled this place one day and decided to go since i was craving mexican food. been hooked ever since and have gotten my coworkers hooked as well. we always order the large quesadillas and burritos. good food, great prices!

My father and I come here really often, because we live so close. And we love it, my favorite dish is the quesadilla with beef. Really gives me the will to do stuff. 🤣

The food is impeccable the waitstaff are very nice need to speak a little more english but other than that this restaurant has the best food for the price the breakfast and lunch taco are so good
