After visiting, I entirely understand why these donuts are king in the Houston area.
They use an old fashioned style donut, and generously top them. The selection is vast, and the donuts are undeniably fresh.
It's really special to see a place making their own donuts nowadays. We really enjoyed the specialty donuts and that there are fresh Kolaches too!

The food at shipleys is always delicious. This location however does not make new batches of donuts often. They never have fresh glaze in stocks but they are still good.

The staff is always amazing. I bring my kids and let them order for themselves and the staff always helps them with a smile and are very nice. I've been visiting this location since 1986 and i wouldn't go to any other location.

Okay had great customer serviceand the lady at the desk was very knowledgeable and took our order with extreme haste that didn't feel rushed. The donuts, for being at 2 p.m., tasted basically freshly baked and the price for our what I thought extremely large order was actually a lot lower than I thought.if I had been at one of those boutique donut shops we would have been spending at least $45 for what we got for 12 at Shipley's. And the quality was almost equal.
