Stopped in to this small cozy restaurant in my search for the best Menudo in town and was very pleased the food is cooked to order and it was very delicious. While the menudo was not the best I've had it was a solid 8 of 10, the star of the show here was the barbacoa taco on they homemade corn tortilla. It was buttery smooth and very tasty. We also had the chilaquiles and they were very good. Get here early the place has like 10 tables total inside and like 8 spots along the bar area.

My family and I stopped by here after my daughter’s graduation.
The place is a little small inside and it can feel hot at first.
The lady serving was a bit older and with an attitude however the food made up for everything. Truly, the food here is amazing.
From the Chilaquiles to the barbacoa and carne guisada
and oh, don’t let me forget about the Agua de Jamaica. Oh my God! It’s sooo good!
Worth stopping by again.

The chilaquiles were grate. Employees friendly and helpful. Place is super small. Just about every plate has pork, I don’t eat pork so I only had two options of plate.

Awesome food! Some of the best homemade chilaquiles in Houston, they make everything from scratch, recommend to anyone, it’s a bit small so might need to wait a minute to sit some times

I was recommended this place by a friend and I'm glad I decided to give it a try. The building is small and cozy, and perhaps a bit cramped. However, the bright colors, and better yet the food more than make up for the lack or space. I tried the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and the taco de barbacoa. I must say everything tasted like home made Mexican breakfast. Even the tortillas were freshly made. I was pleased with my visit all around and our waitress was very kind.

The pure nostalgia of a weekend breakfast at grandma's will keep me coming back. Expect a wait, both for a table and your food. It'll be worth it.

5 stars for fresh tortillas so hot you can't even hold them. And their, salsa Ranchero is made with habaneros, very tasty.
