This will definitely be our go to icecream & treats place! The staff was so nice! They explained the menu to us and even gave us testers :) The lemon troles with chile is fantastic! Perfect for a hot day!
It took us about an hour to find this place but so worth it..the Mangonada, maranada and the paletas were delicious and the service was fantastic...a must try!!
Local favorite for our little family. It's like a Mexican street cart with a store front. Frozen fruit popsicles, shakes, salty snacks, and maybe 10 flavors of ice cream. The frozen lemon water will change your life! Service is always smiling and helpful. Venue is clean and organized. Plenty of parking.
Great customer service, we've tried the ice cream (cookies and cream, and chocolate) and it's very creamy and delicious, mangonada tamarindo is super yummy if you are craving a salty/spicy snack, definitely recommend it.
My mother, brother, and I visited this shop after receiving an advertisement postcard. We weren't familiar with many items on the menu but the gentleman working took the time to explain everything and answered every question we had with complete patience. I definitely appreciate his patience.
Ultimately, we decided to purchase popsicles, ice cream, and a smoothie. Everything was delicious and amazing! If you're like me, you may not enjoy the smoothie too much because it was more creamy than I expected. Nothing wrong with that at all, I just enjoy smoothies with more of a fruity taste. I definitely recommend you try it out for yourself, I still thought it was good. The Popsicles however were so good, I plan to go back for the Mango pop, it's now my favorite.
The shop is well maintained and very clean. The service is quick and extremely helpful. I recommend anyone to stop by and treat themselves.

The restaurant design inside Tamarindo is really clean and colorful. They have screens with their menu that show different Mexican Smoothies and snacks you can have. Ice cream is made in house which is awesome plus they have different flavor popsicles, raspas, cones. It’s a good indoor place to go to enjoy ice cream in the branch on a Sunday night.
Also clean, air conditioned restrooms.
Very friendly and quick service. They have the condiments for the elote on the side, so you can customize it however you'd like. Got elote and hot cheetos with cheese and they were both delicious! Will be returning
The staff is excellent and the products are even better. When you go, the milk mango popsicle is a must. Hands down the best in Houston, absolutely delicious!
