Nicey's Restaurant

I was greeted at the door with a smile from the young lady behind the register. I ordered the chicken and waffles breakfast plate. Everything came out hot and fresh. I understand why other reviewers might be concerned about portion sizes (my waffle was "Belgian sized" and I had five drummettes) however I was very satisfied with my meal. I will return to try other menu items.

I've had similar experiences the two times that I've been to Nicey's. On both of occasions the food was delicious, the service was fairly quick, the establishment was clean and I was satisfied with my visit overall. However, Nicey's does not get a five-star rating, because each time I greet the cashier by saying hello, she refuses to respond. The first time I visited, I had no clue where I was supposed to go (to the counter or to a seat) and, when I finally figured it out, I was asked what I wanted to eat (but I never received a menu). Please note, she is extremely friendly to the seemingly "regular" customers who come into the restaurant.

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! My first time in just picked up a burger in my way home from a dr appt an I am highly highly impressed. Service is welcoming and down home and the burger was absolutely juicy perfection. I haven't had a burger this good in a very looong time. I just wish I had not have gotten it to go so I could check out other stuff on there simple but satisfying menu. Looking forward to breakfast here real soon.
