Las Hamacas Restaurant - Houston - Photo album

We like to roam around looking for new foods we haven't tried yet. We were extremely pleased with this place. The tamales were cooked to perfection. And the wide variety of flavors on the Bandeja Catracha was amazing. This is a perfect place to stop when looking to experience culture.
First, the waitresses are great so be sure to tip, especially if they deserve it. The food is very authentic, i spent time in Tegu and they have the flavors right. Anyone saying that it's bland doesn't know what the sauce on the table is for. Its great place, i will grab fotos next time I go.
Good latino foods with nice waitresses and music. Give it a try! it is a little hidden sceret whole in the wall worth the trip to taste some Unique Honduran and Latin flavors that you won't get anywhere else. Tip to owner: Keep everyone smiling and often attending the tables and continue to serve fr
Food and service great , the place is small but cozy.
There baliadas are delicious and so is there mariscada soup. You won't regret the taste and i will be back again.
The service is impeccable as soon as I walked in they gave me a menu. Soon after I ordered I didn't have to sit there and wait to be attended. The food was good. I would definitely return in another occasion.
I was hesitant because of the reviews, but I'm glad we stopped by. The food was great, and I'd be happy to try their other offerings.
Cultural food - good tasting food. If you don't speak Spanish have patience with the staff.
I love this restaurant. Super nice the view and the food is great. Altamente recomendado
AMAZING FOOD. great experience. Soup was what my soul needed to fight a cold. The steak was juicy. The beans were seasoned. The Honduran tamales are a must try. Definitely see why this place has 3 locations.
Very hidden location, and most of the strip is gone. Happened to need to replace our truck speakers and walked down to grab lunch while we waited. Everyone was friendly and it was moderately crowded. The food took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait. Very delicious quesadillas and good quali
Did not dine, but stopped to get water for formula for the baby. Everyone was super nice.
I live with my niece and her husband who is Honduran. He likes the food from here. The chicken soup is especially good.
