I'm absolutely in love with the Japanese Lasagna specialty roll here! They have a number of other great rolls as well, it's taken several trips to keep trying new great rolls and I look forward to my next visit.

The fusion rolls are that. Fusion rolls. They are sauce heavy and not for everyone. They do have traditional sushi and sashimi. I didn't know the difference so i instinctively asked for wasabi and soy. The fusion rolls do not need it. It is a newer restaurant and concept and i think the former reviews reflect some of the growing pains that is expected. The chef Yama is definitely a master of presentation and has as far as quality of the final product blown every other place i've been to out of the water. Having started 5 successful stores in a particular sports bar chain I do understand their growth and what comes with it. Patience is a virtue and i foresee this place to be a big hit in the future. The quality of the food is bar none. The service i can see is being worked on and Yama and management is quick to resolve any issues and make sure that they can make the experience as pleasurable as possible. I will continue to frequent and support Yamas in this endeavor and all future locations. I drive all the way from Sugar Land to Kingwood to enjoy Yamas and will continue to do so!

First time and i got the Spider and some ugani sushi, was really good and filled me up, the sake was nice, its 15% incase people wanted to know and i ordered hot sake, really nice staff and upbeat music and lights, wish they would play some REOL though to make it feel more JPY

This place has a really cool vibe. The sushi that was coming out looked really good, and they had a large menu. We ordered the hibachi. It was good, don't get me wrong, but not worth the price. I would really only recommend this place if you're into sushi and drink specials, because they seem to have that down pretty good.

Good food when you can get a decent waiter. Most of them either don’t know the menu or they are new. Some days you can get butter garlic edamame and then others they tell you they can’t do it like that. Friendly when you walk in or leave but waitstaff isn’t so social or nice. Seems like the more you go there they less interested they seem. Some of the best sushi my husband has ever ate.

Had to order takeout, since they don't offer Hibachi on their Door Dash menu (the delivery service they use). Takeout was ready in 30 minutes; was a quick in and out pickup. Order was all correct (but don't expect anything extra, such as rice). Hibachi Shrimp was excellent... Sushi was good.

This was my first experience to a fusion sushi place, and now I'm hooked. The restaurant has a upbeat vibe and is dimly lit. The dark ambience fits the sweet savoring fusion rolls in a tasteful delicate manner.
The staff was attentive and greeted us promptly as soon as we walked in. Chef Yama came to our table and was very welcoming to us. I was very grateful to get to meet the man behind this great delicious fusion-infused sushi. Will definitely come back again!!!

Phenomenal experience. The employees are very friendly and energetic. You get fresh sushi that's got a wonderful presentation, for a reasonable price.
Very clean, fast, and good work ethic from the whole restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. The 4 rolls we ordered were amazing and full of flavor. Staff is awesome and the restaurant has an awesome atmosphere. Would recommend to any of my sushi loving friends!

The sushi was picturesque, a Mango Waikiki roll. Staff was incredibly friendly. Spent time talking about cooking steak with the sushi chefs, and one of them even showed me the beauty he cooked up for dinner last night. 10/10 will eat here again. Probably for lunch next time.

This is one of my favorite places to get sushi for lunch or dinner! It’s well priced, well made, and consistently yummy. The service is kind. I’ve never had to wait too long to get food. Great atmosphere as well!

The sushi is the best in the area. The only reason I gave it 4 instead is 5 is service. The waiters are typically slow. I usually have an empty glass of water. I never even get a chance to order a second drink because the don’t check on you until you are past done eating.

Update, still good and the quality of the food was perfect. I wish all restaurants hit your taste buds like this place did! Thanks again, food took a little long but was totally worth every bite.

Nice lunch! Had the hibachi combo lunch. Steak and chciekn were very tender. Loved the hot and sour soup. Good food with nice fusion. Lots of atmosphere. Would be a nice place to take friends or clients!
