Hunan Hut is no longer, 01June 2023 saw that the space was cleared. Back in Feb, the food was different. It was a great place for many years, even back in the 1980s. Will miss it.

This place does not deserve the rating it has. The owner is very nice and extremely helpful. The place is dated and small but the food is just fine. Do not expect gourmet but it wasn't bad either. The sesame and general tso's chicken were good but the String Beans were amazing!

Best Chinese food in houston! It is a little quiet place! The food is amazing you have to get the sesame chicken spicy! I drive over an hour just to go here! Once you have good Chinese like this you just can't go anywhere else!

We were very happy with our regular take out from another local restaurant until we gave Hunan Hut a try. We haven't been back to our old Chinese restaurant since. Great food made by a chief that cares about the product he/she puts in front of you.
