Time for a history lesson for the critical folks out there... As many of you may not be aware, French culture was spread to Vietnam via colonization, and the French aristocrats who immigrated there weren't going to bake their own baguettes and do their own cooking, nor were they going to fully assimilate to Vietnamese cuisine. So that meant opportunity for local cooks to expand their skills to appease their corporate and political overlords (which some of these reviewers act like). The Vietnamese are well schooled in French ways. They make the best baguettes, croissants, and danishes in town, so STFU. Just because the bakers are Asian doesn't mean the products aren't French!
Vegan Space
If you don't mind a hole in the wall type place, this place has some small but good vegan (or vegetarian) options. I loved the tofu banh mi. Extra crunchy bread, with flavorful juicy tofu. Will try baked deserts next time, and other veg-friendly dishes. Canned drinks a bit overpriced.

Awesome sandwich selection and they serve breakfast. Just as cheap as the place next store that had a line out the door. They're super nice and fast and will make sandwich as you order them!

Great unassuming place! Friendly staff serving up Vietnamese sandwiches and classic bakery fare. Seating available or just grab and go! The best way to spend $3.50 on a lunch!
