Review Subway - Houston

The manager of this branch was terrible. She refused to serve tuna for the Kids because it is not allowed with the 3inch kids meal, and when I stated that I was ok with charging me for 6inch and asked for a 6inch sandwich, she went ahead and cut two new 2inch sandwich and put it next to the 3 inch she had already cut to make the 6inch instead of serving a new one. Terrible service. Not going back again.

Worst Subway I ever been to. Staff barely understands English which is somewhat odd considering the location. The sandwich I was served was absolutely awful. The bread was dry and old, and considering it was still early when I purchased, I can almost without a doubt insist it must have been from the day prior. When I told the staff, they told me know manager was on duty and that there was nothing they could do. When I asked if there was anything that could be done, they were rude, talked poorly of me in Spanish thinking I could not understand, and rolled their eyes. After that, I insisted on speaking to someone and the cashier called the manager. She reluctantly gave me money back but added "I'm only doing this once, so don't make this a habit." I told her not to worry because I would definitely not be returning to this location ever again. Horrible experience. Sharing this on google, yelp, and with the corporate office. This kind of behavior and management should not be tolerated in such a well known establishment. It's really a shame.

I go to subway pretty regularly. I was around the medical center and decided to grab a quick sandwich. The person serving me barely spoke English. I asked for a 6in, then realized it was a 6$ footlong so I asked to upgrade. She took the 3 pieces of meat off of my 6" and put the bread back in the oven. I debated leaving after that because it shows a complete lack of food sanitation... Very disappointed.

Update: Want to bring review from 1 to 4 stars. Good experience tonight with can't remember her name 3/11/18 8:50pm. Would be 5 stars if their texted coupons were a bit more accurate & if they had the vegetarian meat in stock (although supposedly will be on truck shipment tomorrow) I live close to both Jimmy John's and Subway and with Jimmy John's you know you are going to get good, quick customer service. Jimmy John's hires better quality staff and the food tastes fresher. However I sometimes come to Subway if I'm on the other side of the street and it's about $1 cheaper for the type I get which is cool but the experience and quality is very different. For example today, the young man (Indian or Pakistani) with no uniform is an example of why the location is just bizaar. I asked for the sub of the day which was ham and unlimited vegetables. So I said I wanted the sub of the day minus ham. Then at the register be charged me MORE! Even though I had less ingredients so why charge more? I said, I told you this from the start and you did not oppose. He said nothing. So then I said fine, go ahead and add the ham to the sandwich if that makes you happy. I can take it off when I get home and give it to my cats. He responded that he already finished it do it was too late. I was like, all you have to do is open it and add the ham that you want me to have. The other employee stepped in and fixed the issue. And when I opened my sandwich then mustard and mayo was just in a small area to the side-not spread around they they do at Jimmy John's. This guy serves less than decent sandwiches, bad attitude, and bad vibes. Some of the people here are better like this old lady is nice but it's hit or miss here. And even though he said they bake the bread fresh every day, it tastes more fresh at Jimmy John's across the street.

I made an account just to write this bad review...The staff here (Irma that works on mondays 4ish) are unprofessional. The sandwich quality is as they were making it blind folded and they are so disrespectful when you give them feedback.. never coming again. I would give no stars if i could.

Absolutely terrible service. The workers make the sandwiches so badly and do not care whatsoever. Once given some criticism they try to act all defensive. The person who did this was Irma and she tried to act like her co-worker didn’t make a trash sandwich

The short Hispanic woman was eating when I came in.She cleaned her hands and continued to talk to another employee. I told her exactly what I wanted. Each time she got to the next stage of my sandwich, she asked me what I wanted. I asked her if she heard anything I had said. Then she said do I want a sandwich.

I usually laugh at people giving low ratings to really inexpensive fast food-esque places because it's not surprising they might be really crappy, but this subway has really subpar service - even for a Subway. I don't mind that my server barely understood what ingredient I was asking for, I'm sure language barrier is kind of hard and can be improved, but my server barely put a piece of paper around my sandwich, I wouldn't even call it wrapping my sandwich because it was so loose my sandwich was falling apart. It's like she didn't know how to wrap it or was scared to touch it... So I asked her politely if she can wrap my sandwich a little tighter, at which point she looked exasperated, then barely tried just to show me she did. Check out the picture I added and you'll see my sandwich is falling apart. I feel like language barrier can be improved and worked around, but I really just want my sandwich as one piece and not everywhere, is that too much to ask?
