I'm from the south and wanted to try a Texas burger. It was too basic, burger was good with fairly good ingredients, but nothing I couldn't do when I was a kid. They need to add some some seasoning and give it some 'pop'.

Another above average burger in Houston. If you want a thick piece of meat on a really good bun and some homemade fries, then this is your place. I must note that the Patty is almost flavorless in the sense that there weren't any seasonings attached to it. Another important note is, call ahead do not show up without an order already having been placed. Wait times can be up to an hour. Again, a decent burger, but they are way better burger places in Houston.
A very good place to eat at. Food is definitely worth the price. The service time may be long just because it stays busy. The best option is to call in your order so you do not have to wait as much.
I work at George R Brown from time to time. My co-worker (Gloria) ordered us all burger. They were really juicy and well done,and the fries are fresh cut fries....♡♡♡♡ I'm Hooked....!
I had a cheeseburger with bacon and just mustard and it was excellent! The meat was big and juicy, bacon was crisp, cheese nicely melted all on a toasted bun. I also had fries which were seasoned well but were not hot. I will skip the fries next time and stick to the meat.
Excellent Burger and Fries!!!. This was my first time visiting Sparkle. I called my order in ahead of time as suggested by other reviewers. I had to wait in a short line (was very hot today so maybe that is why there was no one out). She was very pleasant and chatty! My burger was EVERYTHING a burger should be from a place like this. The fries are made from REAL potatoes, so as unhealthy as it seems it does not contain all of the fillers and additives. It is what it is. potatoes and beef. I didn't get a drink or shake, but I will absolutely return to try some of the other things on the menu. If you don't like this place you are probably just not down to earth enough to enjoy it. I will never be too wealthy, well off or high class to enjoy a good, greasy, down-home, hole in the wall, burger joint!!

More Than I Bargained For. Like other comments tell ya, it's hard to find food this delicious at such great prices. Called in my first order, picked it up, and was blown away. The fries looked great and you know they were all from fresh taters cleaned and cut right there. My cheeseburger was just like a home cookin cheeseburger would look like and the taste was exceptional. For a first time buyer, I know I'll be back!

I had a good experience & the young lady at the register was very polite to me when ordering. Went around 5 on a Wednesday just a few people other than me. Only waited a few mins for my burger. Food was good burger must have been a pound of meat. I would ask for double cheese next time. I was surprised to see the menu was quite extensive not just burgers.
Homemade burgers are humongous. Nice people making good food. I couldn't even get to my tater tots because how stuffed I was.
Great food reasonable price. I the burger will fill you up. Its great. I have tried other menu items they are great also. I get something different every time.
Should change their name to fabulous burger, because that's exactly what I got. Fresh hot meat made to order, lettuce so wet it could hydrate a desert toad for weeks, ripe non-squished ruby red tomatoes, and the sesame seeds on the bun are packed with so much confidence that they have a second job as a bouncer at an extremely busy and successful night club. Totes recomend.
When I went to this place, I didn’t know I was gonna be in for a treat. This place is the bomb. We waited for a lil bit , but it takes time to cook good food so I not complaining. This the best food I had in a long time an I will be paying them a visit real soon again . Oh An I love the Kool Aid .An the prices are very reasonable .
Went to pick up a call in order! Only to be told the order taker never sent my order threw! Piss me off!
But I went back two days later a received my order and drink for FREE! SO I MUST SAY I APPRECIATED THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL BE BACK!
Great soul food on Thursdays! Hamburgers are always awesome and garnished with lots of fresh veggies! Chili cheese tots are a must!
Ive only had hamburgers here so ill base my 5 stars on that. If you're in a hurry for your food CALL before you drive here.
