Just taught class and was hungry for Luby's . I haven't been here in a while and felt so welcomed when I walked in from the server in the line asking where I have been to the cashiers expressing there love the same as the other. Then carrying my tray making me feel extra special. Joann my waitress smiling and showing even more love as she remembers my name. #lubys #greatservices

The chicken fried steak tastes really good maybe the downside on it is a bit tough but overall good taste make sure to add the white gravy, to taste better. The fried fish is popular among my folks here make sure also to accompany it with lemon, tho the lemons here are dry 🫤. But i left satisfied.
Always enjoyed the variety of plates for any preference. Luan or classic combo size. Go for the classic one and take some food home for later.
There are two ways you can have a meal here. 1. Classic Combos (for bigger portion): You select one entree, two signature sides, and a roll. 2. Luann (for smaller portion): A selected entree, two sides, and a roll at a great low price. We ordered one Beef LuAnn and one Beef Combo. The food is very cheap for this large portion of food. The staff there are very friendly and helped us throughout our order.

I went in to order food to go. It was late afternoon. There was a family of four in front of me. There was only one worker serving the food. His name is Lonnie.
Lonnie served the food expeditiously and came down to assist me with a smile. He was amazing with a smile. Kudos to Lonnie...
I'm so happy I came in. This is the best Luby's. Favorite/ variety are right on point. Real cloth napkins. Everyone Interacts with you. Everyone will step up and help you with what you need. Just come you will do the happy dance.
My liver was a bit tough but the dining staff lady took my plate and bought me a fresh order.
It’s one of my favorite restaurants from my younger years. I’ve always loved their liver and onions and I finally had some today. It was with their fried cabbage and their smooth, creamy delicious mac & cheese. That lunch was like the old days. My meal couldn’t have been any better especially since my friend couldn’t finish his meal and I made off with his bananas & strawberries in that tasty glaze. Oh, take my word about this... it’s well worth the drive!
Best Luby’s in Houston! They have all my faves. Candied yams and the broccoli rice casserole with a bacon cheese steak. Every Luby’s doesn’t serve these items and it was so fresh!
