I love this place but, I wish the burger tasted old school like they use too. I'm going to still support this business though because I've been going here for years. Just need another cook perhaps.

Our go to hamburger and shakes place since my sons were very young. 1st place they eat when in from out of town.

The atmosphere at Dixie Maid has never been amazing, so I don't think that category really applies here. Many years ago they use to have a Galaga video game that my husband and kids played all the time, but it's been gone for a while. Now, the food is another story. It's that cheeseburger, fries and soda that is consistently delicious. I use to get the fried shrimp and fried rice, but there was always too much grease floating at the bottom of the rice and I couldn't eat it anymore. My husband still enjoys the double cheeseburger and the steak sandwich.

I have been coming to Dixie Maid for over 30 years & the food is always great. Burgers, shakes & my favorite is the fried shrimp! The owner, John, always provides great service & he looks the same as he did when I was a kid!
