It's a really nice place and the atmosphere was friendly.. The bartender Mike and the waitress Shy was amazing so we will totally be back and I am bringing more friends... Lol �
I'm from out of town so this was my first time visiting but I loved it ! Food, good drinks and the DJ was on point !!! I will be back when I come back to Houston �

I've been going here for a couple years I love it the bartenders are cool I love that I can get my hookah liquor based instead of water I always meet the craziest ppl "love it"

Waitress was friendly and attentive, checked on us multiple times which honestly I’ve become unaccustomed to around Houston but this was a turn around thank goodness. She put the hookah in at the table and it was literally there within a few minutes! Also the hookah guy came and refilled the coals without us asking. That plus the drink prices was just excellent.
Side note: I’m small and can’t drink much so I asked for a lil extra mixer and they accommodated for both drinks. Super happy with this spot! And they had open (free) tables until 9 on a Friday! Almost unheard of these days in Houston
I love the staff at Uptown. If you’re looking for a place with good music, good drinks, no drama. This is a great spot. Ladies, especially, staff takes care of you. Happy Holidays! Dre you’re the best !!!
I actually had a decent time. It was pretty busy but the bar was accessible and the bar on the patio had a very efficient lady bartender that has to be commended but idk her name unfortunately..the food was tasty and came out really quick and prices were very fair.. It seemed everyone was enjoying themselves, the women were beautiful .. if there was one issue which I have w most clubs w a dj n mc is the mc is so overbearing that if I'm close to a speaker he might wail out something random every three seconds and feel like I'm in front of the stage an Im personally not of fan of that because I bring guest and like to talk to them in the establishment.. forgive me if my expectation is off because thats not a slight towards your style of business; I just might like then lounge setting more. But overall I recommend checking it out on the lit night like tonight (sat) or a casual weekday. Great job to the urban hookah team n keep up the good work.
When we arrived at about 9pm Saturday night, the vibe was laid back and lounge-like with a few people having drinks and hookahs. A couple of tables were reserved, but a good number of other tables were available on a first come basis. I was delighted to get one of the tables because we got to chill, have drinks, make conversation, keep eyes on a basketball game on tv, and occasionally get up to dance to the upbeat music. Later, it got packed with a nightclub feel for even more dancing into the night.
Went for a bachelor party and must say this place was JUMPING! Dj had the the beats coming all night, drinks were a little high but that's to be expected being in uptown. All in all was a great night and atmosphere was energetic.

We went on a Tuesday evening, there were plenty of people and good music. Some patrons decided to get into an altercation outside in the parking lot.
Y’all HAVE to come here! It’s a MUST! I’ve been here a bunch of times and they be vibing 🔥 the dj is fire! Their food is delicious and everybody be lit up in there! You’re bound to have a great time!! Amazing atmosphere 10/10
Very cool place. They have lots of specials and cheap hookah. The food isn't bad either.
Cool spot and good vibes. You can dress up or down and it all flows perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in town.
