I love this place. They definitely don’t open at 8 more like 8:15 I really only get two things from there and they are always good.

A good, inexpensive & quick place to get your Vietnamese to-go food fix. Everything is fresh & their banh mi are made to order as they should be. They also pre-packaged to go meals.

I've been coming here for a long time, and just got home with 2 fried egg rolls and a banh mi thit nuong sandwich (extra wonderful pate added!) in tow. Don't know why I haven't posted a review before now, but here it is. First off, the food I have gotten here has always been fresh and delicious, from the fried egg rolls and banh mi to the fried yucca and pate chaud! The char-grilled pork is my favorite meat for a banh mi, but the chicken is pretty awesome as well. The woman who owns/runs the place is so friendly, always asks how I, and my husband, are doing, and we enjoy talking about food. She even inspired me to try my hand at making the pork for homemade banh mi (albeit with her amazing pate, mayo, and bread) and was impressed by my pics. Of course, my pork wasn't as out of this world as hers but her condiments made it a worthwhile effort! $7.00 for the sandwich and egg rolls is more than fair, the sandwich is always packed full of yum!! Try this place out for sure because you won't disappointed! It is cash only, so keep that in mind. It is so good that I've been known to cross Beechnut just to get cash back on a small purchase at H.E.B so I can cross back for those goodies!!

We had vietnamese sandwiches which were very good. More of a take out place. Only two small tables inside and one had fresh produce on top. They also sold limited fresh produce. We bought 5 artichokes for $5. They had several other fresh prepackaged vietnamese food items for sale but I was not familiar with most of them.

I highly recommend the Vietnamese sandwiches here. The filled croissants are pretty good too! Remember to bring cash though, if I recall correctly they either don't have a credit card reader or there's a minimum limit.
