the place is clean and has a lot of seating . katherine was very sweet and genuine.the hookah was not pulling as usual but the drinks were good. I got a paloma and island drop and both were very delicious!

Thursday night was my first time there. The atmosphere was great. The waitresses were very attentive. The DJ's were on point with the music. Maryellie made sure I was taken care of and recommended certain items on the menu. I look forward to going back and bringing more people with.

Great service. The drinks were good and so were the $1 tacos. Went on a tuesday night and sat at the bar. The waitresses were very attentive and the dj's were on point. Get there early for a seat at the bar or the tables are bottle service only after 10. Also the $10 hookah before 10pm was good as well. Only thing that I feel could've made things better is if the parking was a little cheaper. And it's cash only for parking.

Came today for my bestie birthday and had an amazing time. The valet guy let on Monday my bestie park as a birthday gift. Great service and great hospitality from Parking to experience! Will come again!!!

Good music and good vibes and drinks, the best host / waitress ever, Griselda. Definitely going back soon.

katherine was patient and such a vibe she kept checking on us periodically. & when there was about to be a shift change she let us know instead of just leaving .

This place is a cute lil vibe. Whether you’re going to chill or party, you’ll love it here. The food was okay. My friend and I had the Henny wings. There was a lot of sauce on the wings which I didn’t really care for. The drinks were good. The bartenders and waiters are nice too. 4.7/5

Best club in Houston Texas now what I don't understand how people can move to an area known for its clubs and complain about music at 1:30 am

Nice drinks & hookahs. Reasonably priced. They have but we didn't eat any. Other people were ordering food so it might be decent for a bar. We also got some good eye candy with the fast & attentive service.

Came here on a Sunday night this must be a new spot that recently opened the vibe was pretty chilled the DJ plays some top-notch hip-hop/R&B/Latin music so of course it’s going to be loud and the hookah was good. Service was good. I Might come back on another weekend so I expect it to be fully packed.

Let's just get right into this. Last night, to celebrate 2 of our friends birthdays, we decided to go eat. 14 of us ended up here at Ulas. Upon walking in the atmosphere looked like it would be pretty enjoyable. We were seated and given chips and salsa. 10 minutes later we finally were asked for our drink orders. The table ordered and it wasn't until 10 minutes after that when we even got water. To top that off, only 11 people got waters. We waited hoping they'd bring the remaining members waters, but nah we didn't get any. Then when asking where our waters were, they brought us out our waters in Styrofoam cups because they ran out of glassware. Gotta be honest, I've never been to a restaurant that charges $25 for a 1/2 lb of fajitas that ran out of cups. Then, when our margaritas finally arrived, they were served in beer pint glasses. It was like the bartender made the margaritas in The shaker then said screw it and left them in The shaker pint glass. The night didn't stop here. We were currently sitting at over 30 minutes before getting drinks or water and even ordering food. By this point, I had come to the conclusion that time wasn't on our side for the evening and we wouldn't be getting our food for a while. We placed our order at 8:15. The order was ALL FAJITAS except for 2 people. So 12/14 people were eating fajitas. Easy order for a Mexican restaurant. Thank goodness for good friends and good conversation because we had a nice amount of time to discuss life. Our food all arrived at 9:02pm. For those of you following along at home, that is over 45 minutes from when we placed our food order. Now, in all of this waiting, we also all ran out of water and chips that, had we not asked multiple times, would not have been refilled. So, sitting down to getting our food took over an hour and 15 minutes for a restaurant that was probably 50% full. By this point, we were ready to get on with our evening and asked for the checks. When those finally came around and cards were handed off, we waiting for the receipts so we could leave. And as was par for the course, that also took 20 minutes. After we had already paid and literally were standing to leave, half the staff came out with sombreros and ice cream to wish our party a happy birthday. While we appreciate the gesture, doing it when were walking out the door after a horrendous dinner experience isn't the best option. We finally were able to leave after 10pm. But alas, our Ulas story doesn't end here! Waking up this morning, 12 out of 14 of us all have stomach problems. Montezumas revenge struck the birthday party and we are all having a "messy" morning. So, there's our story of what can only be described as a uncomfortably memorable evening at Ulas. Those still reading, do yourselves a favor and walk across the street to El Tiempo. While the wait may be long, you'll know it was worth it for not having to go through this.

Great service and a dog friendly patio. Never disappointed and they will make any of their premium margaritas as frozen upon request. Never a wait for a patio table and they take good care of 'locals' who walk over in the neighborhood. My dog loves their tortillas and they will provide water for pets on request. It's walkable for me and not the long wait times nearby El Tiempo has for a table and a great meal.

I’ve never been to a restaurant where they actually ran out of cups. They ran out of actual glasses and served us our drinks in styrofoam cups. Mind you this place was not even busy. It took 2 hours for our party of 14 to get food. Would have been shorter but they kept forgetting 3 people at our table existed. The food is also priced very high considering their competition across the street has better food and pricing. Would not come back here again and would not recommend to any friends.

Danae was the best! Luis the general manager was awesome. He gave us ribs to try and came whenever we needed! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the waiters and everyone are so nice and accomedating to our needs!

I gave a star for the very friendly staff. A star for the chips, salsa, and queso. A star for the location and decor. However, the enchiladas were not good. The rice was awful and beans were so-so. Enchiladas with rice and beans are my favorite Mexican food so it was disappointing for me.

Sorry I went there yesterday morning for breakfast and the food wasn’t good my family barely touch it and my drink had a long hair and they took for ever with our food we got full with beans, chips and salsa.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Pathetically slow when the restaurant was empty… And the food was not worth the wait.

Overpriced and under-delivered. $16.75 for a margarita that's just ok is ridiculous. Add that to lackluster service and you've got disappointment. Go across the street for excellent food and service. There's a reason Ula's is empty and the place across the street has a 45 minute wait.

Love it! Love the food, the service and the fresh fruit margaritas. Try the machacada for brunch and order the plantains (under dessert). I am Latina so the plantains go as a side dish to my meal and not dessert. I ask them to bring them out together. Also love the charro beans.

Danae is the best. Drinks are great and my cheese enchiladas were delicious. Almost like home made.

I love Ulas! I'm Mexican so I always find delicious food that is very similar to my country because Ulas is Mex-Tex rather than Tex-Mex, howeve,r their Tex-mex menu is also delicious! Great margaritas! Their service and personnel are awesome! I love all the employees at Ulas. Very friendly atmosphere !!! It's like your neighborhood restaurant. I just love it!!!

Over priced and enchiladas are not Tex-Mex enchiladas. Queso too watery. Never get refills without asking. Started off good when it first opened but has gone downhill - in my opinion.

I love the ribs and margaritas! Best ever! Everytime we go, you always feel the warm welcome from all the friendly staff. Danae you are the best!

Great service, but it wasn't busy when we went, our waitress was great her suggestions were spot on!
