Wonderful Tex Mex chain in Houston. I had tried the downtown location a few years back and remember it being so good. Going to this location in Uptown I was reminded again how boozy their drinks are, how yummy their free salsa is, and the fajitas are so flavorful. Even down to their rice and beans sides tasted good. My friends got ceviche and flautas and the portion size was generous and tasted hearty and fresh. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, both food and drink! We’ll definitely be back for another meal!
I’m actually not a fan of Mexican food at all. (Ninfa is technically not Mexican but Tex-Mex though). But we had a delicious dinner - whole grilled fish and shrimp tacos. What I loved about tacos is that the tortilla was soft and not crispy - that way they don’t fall apart. Fish was deliciously cooked. Cocktails are cheap and well mixed. Place is huge.
I would fully recommend this place and also come back!
The vipe & service were the hero of the night, but unfortunately, the food wasn't up to our expectation.
I was in search for the perfect Tex-Mex Burger, but Ninfa's "claimed Award winning" burger was not well executed. Maybe it was my bad luck, or maybe the medium wasn't the right request as it came raw @ the center. For the price of $25, I was expecting perfection. On a positive note, the look, as u can tell from the picture, was mouthwatering😋
The Mushroom Cascadia & the wood-fire Quail were ok, but the complementary chips were just too hard to be served. I have had much, much better chips from food trucks.
Last but not least, our waitress Valentina was so attentive & made us feel home.
Very friendly staff and laid back fun atmosphere for a lunch or dinner. Food was really good and fast getting to the table. Would definitely recommend to family friends if visiting Houston.
WOW I love this place! I am visiting and heard so many great things about this Tex-Amex joint. Did not disappoint! Our server Jessica was amazing- she was very attentive and fast. My husband and I ordered the tamale (it was off the menu but Jessica made it happen!) and the brisket enchiladas— AMAZING! It was the perfect amount of food. We left feeling very full but not disgusting. Oh! And the free chips with salsa was one of the best chips I ever had. My husband ordered the spicy margarita and he claims this is the best margarita he has ever had- and we go to Mexico often! Haha
Great Tex-Mex food! We went in the early evening, it was busy but service was fast. Chips and salsa included as an appetizer, which is always a nice bonus. Friendly and fast service. We got the chicken/steak combo fajitas and that was plenty of food for two adults. We left very full and felt like everything had a great flavor to it.
Best Mexican food i had the opportunity to enjoy. Service was good and quick. Queso is excellent, they have topo chico. Didn't try the deserts but im sure its good!!!
Oh my goodness, I thought Ninfa’s would taste like every other “Mexican” restaurant in Texas but it was not. It was surprisingly so good! Upscale Mexican flavors. Not exactly authentic but definitely a great place to have a Tex-Mex experience!
Our server Juan was absolutely amazing! Very attentive and friendly. The food was Great, the atmosphere was Wonderful. I highly recommend!!!
We wanted to try this local restaurant and were not disappointed. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The chips and sauces were very delicious and fresh tasting. The food arrived very quickly and was very delicious and pleasing. Would be a great place for a date night or with friends. It is more expensive than you may find at other Mexican restaurants, but we were not disappointed with the service or food we received. We would return. Quick note: the bathrooms we used may be hard to navigate for those with disabilities as the hallway leading to them and the stalls were fairly small.
