Wild Kitchen - Houston - Photo album

Don't judge a book by its cover. Came here for dinner on a whim after a friend recommended it. The place looked a bit sketchy and the inside was empty. A Korean family has been running this joint for 11 years- they must be doing something right! Last time I had fish and chips was a very long ago, a
I've seen this old fashioned restaurant for more than 20 times since I live in the neighborhood for 2yrs. Today is my first but a real good try. Perfectly battered pollock pieces are made fresh and crunchy with a reasonable waiting time. Will definitely go back to have more cheat meals.
To anyone looking for a hidden gem of street gastronomy, this is not it. There is a weird smell all around the joint, so I typically take my food outside and eat in the car (the smell is the bad drainage in the lot, not the restaurant). But hot damn this is a phenomenal burger. I'm from SoCal, and
Holy Yumminess, Batman! This little hole in the wall gem was more than I expected. It's been here eleven years and voted Best in Houston. I can see why. I had the English style fish and buddy had the Cajun style. Both were so good. Portions are decent and tastes very fresh. 😍 Will for sure be back.
When I walked in wild kitchen on 09/18/2019 they greeted me right away. Explain what the difference sandwiches. The sandwich was really old skool burger. I was surprised on the size for real. Good
Holy Smokes. This place is hands down the best food I have ever eaten. The shrimp platter is just out of this world. Better than any food I ever had eating out! This place will knock your socks off. A true fish N chips that you will not regret. The owners are just absloutley lovely and so kind. Def
This place has the best fish and chip basket, and hamburgers. We truly enjoyed our order, and the price was too fair not to return down the road. Five stars for the food, price, and very kind people running Wild Kitchen. We'll be regulars now.
Delicious! Had a quarter pound cheeseburger with onion rings and a drink. Hot, fresh, and juicy burger on a toasted bun. Onion rings were large, thick and crispy. All under $9. Gentleman working the counter was nice and helpful in simplifying menu for me. It was my first visit and I will be back soo
Very good food, however it is definitely a dive. The owners are a cute (I assume) married couple who provide great service. It's a little hot in the summer, but worth it for cheap delicious fish. The owner recommended the pollock and it was A+! We will definitely come back.
This place is AWESOME!! It's a bit of a "hole in the wall" but don't be deterred by the decor. The fish n' chips were just the right amount of crispy and the burgers are GREAT! Friendly, fast service.
Place is older, could use a new face. Outside doesn't seem approachable. Now lets bring what's more important : FOOD, My friend ordered a Fish and Chips and I a Angus 7oz burger, and let me tell you it was big. Came out at a reasonable timely matter. Taste was awesome. Price is reasonable, I recomme
Went to Wild Kitchen for the first time today..5-3-19. Got the 6 piece shrimp dinner that came with fries, union rings, hush pupples, tartar and cocktail sauce. All for under $8.00. Tasted great. Excellent value and the owners were very nice. Definitely recommended.
Great burgers and fried fish. The patties were juicy and the accompanying onion rings were appropriately greasy yet crunchy. Definitely has a divey feel and smells a tad off, but its easy to overlook once you dig in.
Definitely a dive restaurant, however there's more, had the fish and chips pollack London style and shrimp, generous portions with fries, onion rings hush puppies. Food was not greasy, and tasted of clean oil (important since it was 30 min before closing. Worth the price and should be checked out,
I've only had the burger and fries, but the burger is pretty good. Skip the fries, they are definitely not worth the price. The menu is pretty basic - burgers, chicken strips, fish and then there's Egg rolls and pot stickers(or gyoza). I wish there was more Chinese food on the menu.
Amazing burgers! You can't go wrong with a burger from this place. The fish is supposed to be good, but I can't get past the burgers. Also, for their fried veggies (mushrooms, onion rings, zuchini, etc) they use tempura batter. It is great!
Good ole fashion hole in the wall food place. They sell burgers, tenders, fish/shrimp, salads, wings. Perfect place to get your cheat meal on. I normally get the 4oz bacon cheeseburger and onion rings with a canned soda. The owners are pretty nice and the prices are reasonable.
Epitome of a very small family owned restaurant. Shabby little place but amazing food that serves up one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. This place is nearly as fast and cheap as your mainstream fast food joints. I can typically place an order and get my food in about 5 minutes. Don't judge i
