Old Mexico - Houston - Photo album

Love love love this place! I have gone here since I was little, Gladys and her family are the absolute best. The food cannot be matched, anywhere I've found. It is the standard I judge ALL Mexican food by! It is a small place right off of Hopper-blink and you'll miss it. But definitely turn around,
Please be advised they are CASH ONLY! Excellent authentic food, small location and calm environment, but the staff/ladies/owners come off a lil catty. So, it's a restaurant you come you eat pay and leave. But, customer service matters and while most reviews fail to not mention this as a shortcoming,
Take a good look at my before and after photo. This is how i leave my plate EVERY single time I come here!! Best hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Houston! They even give side of cheese for free with the chips and salsa! Stop playing and come to old Mexico 🤤
Very delicious beef soup...a little gem in Houston....will visit here again on my next trip to Texas
Great place to have Lunch. The food is delicious. Definitely worth multiple visits. Dont judge a book by its cover. It's a great place. Make sure you visit and take someone.
This establishment is literally family ran, and by far the most amazing food you will ever find. Not only that but the people are so good. They will tend to your every need when it comes to their food. Don't be shy to tip them. They deserve every penny +more. I love them for taking care of me for 20
Well what can I say about this place, here we go! This place has authentic Mexican food, friendly ladies , they greet you with smile. The two down sides about it is, it's very small, so there is a wait time, if it's not packed. Also sometimes it's too hot only because it's too packed up! The food is
Small place but the food is great. I go for the food not the looks. My favorite are the chicken enchiladas. They are stuffed with chopped grilled chicken breast and topped with lots of cheese. The grilled chicken salad is also great. It is large and will fill you up. Gladys is the owner and she is
This place is a hidden gem. It's small and difficult to spot because there's no huge sign or parking that points it out. I have found that places like this are the best. I only arrived here because my friend has been eating here since his late grandfather first brought him here. So if its longstandi
New to the area and was looking for good homemade authentic Mexican food. And did I ever!!! The place is cozy and the ladies extremely nice and helpful! I've definitely found my new to-go in the neighborhood! You have to check them out!
This place is great. Been coming here for years and love it. Great food and great service. Plates priced very reasonable for all the food you get. Highly recommended but if you are traveling make sure you check to be sure when they are open.
The food was delicious. I had the Fajitas Nachos. Yummy ! I loved them. The prices were reasonable. The service was sweet. All sweet waitresses there. I really enjoyed my visit. Try it...You'll Love it !
We recently moved to Houston from NH. This place was recommended from a local. I have to say it's the best Mexican food I have ever had. The service was fantastic, the food delicious. It's a small hidden place so the atmosphere isn't all that wonderful. It probably has about 9 tables. I think
I absolutely love this place. I can visit here 2 times in a week and it never gets old. The food is just good. No matter what you order its good. Even the tea is awesome! The free chips n queso is great! Ive been going here for years. They know my husband and kids for ordering the same thing over .
I've been coming here as a kid and its still one of my favorite places to eat. Just about everything is fantastic. My faves are the breakfast tacos, enchiladas and the pork chops are awesome!
