Review Tostada Regia - Houston

No complaints. Food was hot and taste was really good. Traditional.. not tex-mex. Service was excellent, she was on it. Picked up dishes as they were being emptied. Didn't take pics of everything but here are some pics.

As a busy business woman I rarely get to eat good quality food, let alone fresh food that feels like home. Even though I have never been to Monterrey, the tostada and consome felt like a hug from my mom. Not to be too dramatic but when I tried the consome I cried a little because it tasted like home. As if it wasn’t enough, aside from the great food, the server (I believe her name is Jimena or so it said on the receipt) was amazing. Not only her customer service was great, but her energy and aura were really inviting and genuine. I will come back whenever i am back in town 🫶🏼

Food was good and tasty! Servers were friendly but weren’t that attentive. Pricing was good, clean area, and overall nice spot for Mexican food!

This is not my first time coming but every time I order I order entomatadas and they are always delicious the reason why I come back each time my husband got the pirata plate and he loved it I believe this is the 2nd time he orders this plate and not once has he complained the orders come fast and hot. I always leave full in a good way haven’t had the chance to eat a dessert because I’m always full but the food is delicious 😋 and my waitress was super nice and attentive to me and my daughter and husband will come here once again and eat my entomatadas ❤️😂 oh and the best part we ate good for only 26 dollars!!!! You get delicious Mexican food for an awesome price.

Always good to visit. The dining area is huge and there are flat screen TVs to keep you entertained while you wait. Servers are nice and friendly. Food is good, hot, and flavorful. They give you chips with two kinds of salsa. Beverages are served in a huge glass; their Horchata is good. The menu offers a variety of options to pick from and each dish is clearly described. They accept all credit cards. They have nice, clean restrooms. Servers speak some English.

Good breakfast menu, great prices . I had the huevo ranchero plate it tasted great, eggs cooked well, and comes with tortillas. Was full but not bloated when we finished everything

Nice inside, yummy breakfast, fast service, only thing is whoever answers the phone likes to hang up in the middle of ordering so I would just order online next time

Hit or miss with delivery but still good. Always a good experience when dining in, good customer service, kind waiters. Authentic, budget friendly Mexican platters. Regio (Monterrey, NL) style.

The place was clean and inviting. Service was exceptional and attentive to your needs. The food was great. I enjoyed the variety of salsas that accompanied the basket of chips.

This a good and solid Mexican restaurant with a great open nice view to all staff. Let’s begin with the food quality. 1st - super great and fresh quality of food and the chips and salsa are so addicting that one can easily forget the order you place and not to mention is an unlimited amount of chips and salsa they serve unlike other restaurants after first basket they are quick to charge for a refill. 2nd - everything on the menu is delicious and the kids meals are very generous along for the adults but like previously stated don’t get hooked on the salsa and chips or you will be asking for a to go box. 3rd - the restroom quality and cleanliness is definitely up to par unlike other Mexican restaurants you walk on in and your quickly running out because of the smell or because it’s not to what most normal people would consider to be clean. Last but not least the staff - very professional and always attentive to any customer requests or walking on in but don’t wait to be seated you walk on in and pick your own table because they claim picking your own table breaks the ice automatically and makes you feel relaxed and sets the welcoming atmosphere for the establishment and I can definitely agree with this. In overall no complaints about this location and food quality definitely a must try and the receipt is based on 3 adults and a child all with drinks not a bad price for a great meal. Check out the restaurants locations and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with this place. I’m also going to take this opportunity to thank everyone that keeps following me on reviews and like my pictures I do my best to provide as much possible information to help people out who might feel adventurous like my family and me when enjoying a meal together.

One of my favorites place of autentic regio food (North Mexico). It's never empty, but not crowded. Also, be careful when ordering the agua fresca. It might be too sweet for you as it is for me.

First time to eat here! Had Lulu’s Salad. It was very good! Fresh salad mix, plump grape tomatoes and a light dressing (a lemony vinaigrette) with tender grilled chicken. Reasonable price (approx $10) I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing food. The food gets 5 stars but the service gets 3. So I'll give a 4 overall.I got the Enchilada Suizas(so good), my son got the criapy tacos(he loved them) and my wife got the Tacos de Bistec(said they were very delicious). My critique is that the wait staff was not very into the service. As soon as we walked in we were seated and the waitress took our drink orders and the waiter came back with completely wrong drink orders. Example they have a soda fountain that clearly displayed the Diet Dr Pepper logo but when my drink came it was regular so I politely said is that diet he said no we don't have diet so I look at the sign like 🤔🤔. I also asked if they have non-soda drinks then the waitress said no we don't but I look at they bar and there are several traditional Hispanic fountain drinks😐😐. I think my experience would have been 5 stars if I spoke Spanish or if I was Hispanic. Regardless of that fact the food was a amazing and worth the trip.

The go-to place for authentic Mexican food! I had only seen this restaurant in Monterrey, N.L. so I am ecstatic that they are branching to the US to give us the delicious tastes of Mexican cuisine!
