Family ambience.

Can be avoidable- confusing service, slow, seemingly unhygienic.

So we stopped at this restaurant on the way back from New Orleans Louisiana. There was a Groupon available for $7 for a lunch for 2 and we thought why not take advantage since there aren't any of these in San Antonio Texas. The food is exactly how I remembered it tasting when I was a kid! My favorites are the sour cream enchiladas and the chili rellenos. However or server was not a great one. The self-service bar was missing sour cream so that was the first thing that I asked for.She didn't bring me some instead she came to my table and said it's there now How disappointing.She never refilled our waters either. We still recommend that you stop by and enjoy the food and don't forget to indulge in the freshly fried sopapillas!

5 stars, for the nostalgia and the service.. I seriously didn't need to raise my flag on my drinks. My food, however, was not exactly what I remembered it 20 years ago. The food rates a solid 1 maybe a 2.

The plate looks messy in the pic, but the food is so delicious!! And all the employees are so very nice. Very good service!!
