Good service, good food. This basic fare is done we'll .is welcoming. The ambience country diner, with plenty of sketch. Ample parking my flexitarian friend loved the breakfast sandwich. Vegan hash browns and strong coffee., both good. A good choice with a steam table vibe your grandparents took you to.

Hidden gem in Northwest Houston offering cafeteria style lunch with hearty portions and delicious sides. Makes you feel like you went to a small town eatery deep in the south. Be careful to not let your eyes be larger than your appetite, because once you start stacking items on the tray it's hard to stop. The stuffed Talia is a must try when on the menu! Overall a great experience and will be coming back soon.

Really good food! I got the breakfast chilaquiles. Really fresh and delicious and a huge plate for only $6. Highly recommend. The only thing is i wish they were open on the weekends! I crave those chilaquiles on Sunday mornings hehe

Great cafeteria style food, always fresh and hot, you can get an entree and 2 sides for just about 9$ They have between 8-10 entrees. The tilapia is awesome, as well as the cheese covered chopped steak. A place to at least check out once, and see for yourself. Comfortable old fashioned dining area for one or a group. Parking can be tricky around lunchtime. Great place! 4-8-19, Update-Another great lunch here. Food, fresh and hot, got a chance to snap a couple pics. Great, to have this eatery, so close to work. .

I highly recommend this place. It's tucked away a little bit off the beaten path. But the food's good the atmosphere is good and all the cornbread you can eat. The chicken and dumplings is outstanding so is the chicken fried steak all the vegetables are pretty much done like you would at home. It's kind of like a cafeteria when you get in there, especially lunch hour with the line. You travel down the line and everybody picks what they want and moves on. But you never have a long wait. You move through there real quick you eat your food you can read the newspaper sit outside when the weather is nice. Overall I give it a A-, they're always clean and friendly and the food's good at a decent price believe it or not.

The people are polite, and the restaurant is well decorated with vintage photos and humorous lifestyle messages or advice. Best of all, the food is great. I especially enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was plentiful. I'd even say the biscuits were better than Cracker Barrel!

I forgot my wallet yesterday and Frank locked it away for me till I could pick it up. I kinda already had the feeling that cause I left it there that it would be safe, and I was right. This place is about as real and wholesome as It gets, good folk good food and the kind of scene that you feel like you grew up here. There’s not a who lot of places like this left in the city, kind of spot that makes me proud to live here.

Breakfast at Mom's is off the charts! It is not expensive. It tastes amazing. I can't begin to write enough good things about their morning offerings. I can't wait to make time for a lunch plate!
