Solid spot featuring family-style Chinese cooking We had the Dan Dan Noodles, spicy fried chicken and string beans, which came out to $48 (including tax and tip). Food is tasty with good service.

Excellent family dinner styled Chinese restaurant. Each dish tastes authentic and unique, and they have plenty of options to choose from. I especially like the orange chicken and the eggplant dish. Good to go as a group as you get to try a lot of different dishes for a decent per-person price. They also offer dim sum during certain times of the day. Highly recommend.

Flavor: A Service: B Solo dining: A The chicken with garlic and onion was very flavorful and a big portion. The vegetable egg rolls were small but tasty and the sauce was great. Service is intermittent but the food comes out quickly.

I dined at Hu’s kitchen several times. And each time it brings me happiness and satisfaction. Hu’s kitchen is such an amazing Sichuan restaurant, and it was always an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the rich aroma of Sichuan spices that filled the air. The menu offered a wide array of dishes, each a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The pork belly was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, while the Mapo tofu had a silky, numbing heat that left my taste buds tingling with delight. I picked couple of items from The homemade dim sum menu. Crispy shrimp egg roll is a Must try. Roast 🦆 looks amazing before you even take a bite. The most astonishing item would be the green bean smoothie. Strong flavor perfect for any weather. Their newly added dessert 🍮 Crème Brûlée is a homemade dessert also. loves its simplicity, elegance, and the delightful experience it provides. It’s a true indulgence for those with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for the art of French desserts. The service was impeccable, and the staff was more than happy to guide us through the menu. If you're a fan of bold, authentic Sichuan cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering offerings. Bravo and highly recommended.

Hu’s is a great little spot to stop for some mouth watering Chinese food at a great price. The Dan Dan noodles had amazing flavor and is worth ordering as a meal in itself. The general Taos chicken had a great sweet and spicy flavor on nice big pieces of chicken. The hot and sour soup had that nice thick consistency with great flavor. The rice and Egg-rolls were also great. Great lunch specials!

Hu’s cooking is my favorite Chinese restaurant near Rice Village! It’s a bit pricey, but that’s the location. The garlic snow leafs are super tasty. They have a lot authentic and delicious dishes from Dan Dan noodles to mapotofu, to duck…I really liked the sesame balls when they had them. I think the only dish I wasn’t too fond of is the sliced beef dish that I have posted here. It has too many sour veggies in it that it’s over powering, especially when you bite into any of those sour veggies. Do order the Cauliflower dry pot. It’s delicious! It has some strips of meat on it that is slightly sweet, but not sweet enough to turn me off. I typically don’t like sweet dinner food. The seafood hotpot was also delicious!!

My go-to place for Chinese food. Everything is made fresh and comes out fast although the restaurant is usually busy. I have never been disappointed, some of my favorites include beef in garlic sauce with buns, spicy beef noodles, vermicelli with cabbage... Honestly, I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is full of flavor and has good portion. One more good thing, they have fruits juice made from real fruits, not boxed juice which is really good for health. This is also one of the reasons makes me become their loyal customer. Highly recommend !!!

Authentic Sichuan cuisine that delivers flavor every time. It’s usually busy whenever we dine in here, but there’s no wait. We ordered Beijing style pork, liver and kidney, dry fried intestine. All were excellent and delicious, especially organ meat, they did a great job!! I see us coming back to this place many more!

I ordered the tofu with mushrooms nd shredded potatoes. The potatoes were spicy and the tofu was saucy. The service was excellent with attentive care towards the food order. And the environment was lively. We will definitely return there for dinner.

This restaurant holds a very special place in my heart. Every time I go here the atmosphere and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The owners are regularly at the restaurant helping their employees and it’s very common to see them ask customers how their experience is. The food is phenomenal and I always love how fast they seem to get the food out in time. I personally recommend the Dan Dan noodles, beef tenderloin with soft tofu, and spicy fish bites. The food won my patronage, but the staff won my heart.
