Chengdu Taste - Houston - Photo album

Awesome to see all the awards and recognition this place has had. Decor felt authentic to China too. The jelly was refreshing after my mouth went numb on that delicious spicy fish. Dan Dan Noodles had that traditional flavor your looking for. You got to go here. Wife thought the pig feet was spot-o
Been here several times now. For those who enjoy Sichuan style cooking, this restaurant is a must try. We have not tried all of the items on the menu, but those that we did try have turned out to be very good. As of March 2023, the price vs portion is very reasonable. The only downside is thi
I liked it. Nice descor inside. Ice jelly has rice wine I think but just a tad and is not too sweet. Compliments the spicy food nicely. Try the marinated trotter if you don’t want spicy.
We got medium slickness but it’s still pretty spicy (and we eat spicy food regularly), so if you have a low spice tolerant, definitely go for mild. The dishes are pretty authentic. It’s on the pricier side comparing to other Szechuan places.
Best Chinese restaurant I have tried. The scipy dishes are exactly what I expected. Good decoration, friendly staff. You will need a smart phone to load the menu and place the order. For all the dishes, there are options for how spicy, salty, level of sodium, oil. Remember to check those options be
Food was good, but the flavor was a little off from what I’ve experienced with the same dishes in the Sichuan province of China. The ordering process is interesting and makes it difficult to get your order wrong. I recommend the cumin lamb bites if you go to this restaurant.
Oh! My whole family love this place so much! We actually go there often! Love the food so much, service is not bad. I recently tried their new drink - Thai tea, it’s not good, it’s not really a true Thai tea. Keeping cooking good food for customers, and their regular hot tea is good! Definitely will
Be prepared for spicy (mala) food! While I really enjoyed Pepper Twins, Cooking Girl, and Mala Bistro, I think Chengdu Taste takes the crown (for me) in terms of this style of food. The wait staff was nice, and the food was plentiful, flavorful, and nice and spicy. Make sure you come early; we arri
The food is always epic, no matter if it's here in Houston or in Las Vegas... it will make your eyes roll back from all the amazing flavors.
Delicious Sichuan food that has been made very well. Had a good balance of spice and flavor, with generous portion sizes. Prices are around $13-15 a dish. Would come again.
