I had a really great time hanging out here. The bartender took extra care to recommend drinks both on and off the menu. The pink drink is a BBL. Highly recommend getting one. The colorful drink is the Starry Night. Both were fantastic.
A gorgeous spot to hangout and have a fantastic time! We were there as a party of 8 and decided to sit outside. The views are amazing! Inside the decor is extremely pretty with a touch of 1920's vibe. Our server Bree (I hope I got the name right!) was exceptional! She was fast, efficient and very courteous. The drinks were amazing, I had the Lavender and Hibiscus Martini and got it made with tequila...delicious! Also the food is good but it's shareable style rather than a whole meal!

Our wedding reception experience at Lawless could not have been more perfect. We originally were planning our reception in their sister space, the Crystal Ballroom at The Rice. While this historic Houston space was equally as beautiful, Covid had other plans for our reception and venue. It's rare that wedding receptions go completely without a hitch, but ours DID! Courtney and Emily did an amazing job ensuring our vision came to fruition, and Courtney was amazing as our day-of coordinator. Here we are six months later and our guests are STILL raving about how good our food was! Drinks were revolving quickly, our DJ had a great space/dance floor, and we even had a cigar roller on the terrace. Seriously, book your event today at Lawless! We maxed out the space with 85 guests and the room still felt spacious. Our floral and cake deliveries were also handled seamlessly the day of. I couldn't recommend a better venue. Additionally, an organization I'm part of for work has booked this space for corporate events, so you're working with a dynamic venue.
Definitely a place to come visit again. Had a memorable night, the birthday party was awesome & the drinks on point, very chic lounge/ bar 🍸. Enough space to relax and socialize . I loved the decor and swagger of it all. Houston night out for sure. Bonus the food was tasty 😋
We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner at The Lawless recently, and everything from the planning to the night of the event ran smoothly! Emily is a joy to work with, as all the staff are! Alexis & Caleb kept the food & drinks flowing! The dual entree dinner was excellent! And, the ambiance, rehearsal video, lovely fruit, cheese & crackers appetizer all added to a perfect evening! We seated 60, but it will hold 80. If you are looking for a memorable event, book The Lawless!🙂
I wanted to take the time to thank Emily, Alexis, Hector, and Emmett for the great work you guys did to make my engagement proposal celebration a reality. All the guests and I were very pleased with the service, ambience, and the food taste and quality. My proposal came out perfectly and I’m very happy and satisfied with having chosen you guys to host this special event. Amazing venue! I saw this place as it was being developed as a new concept and to see it over 8 years later operating as it was intended! Great service, food is always great just like Samuca! Nice vibes and the bartenders were friendly and super helpful!
This place was fantastic. The service was a 10/10 (Sara and Denny were very attentive, responsive, and personable - they even remembered our names when we went back). The atmosphere was also a 10/10 (we were looking for a low-key rooftop bar where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Houston in the open air without club-like music preventing you from holding a conversation). Lastly, the drinks were phenomenal as well. My personal favorite was a green tea cocktail w/Jameson that Denny recommended.
Open terrace with good view. Indoor is also very nice. Very good location for organizing a customer event of medium size.

Traveled in town and wanted to lounge at a bar for a few drinks. Lawless Spirits and Kitchen was suggested and I was not disappointed. The drinks were phenomenal especially the Lavender Martini. The waitresses were awesome! Thanks to Ms. Bella and Mr. Emmitt for a great experience!
